    DIY animatronic Stargate Horus guard helmet

    Just finished my latest project and thought I'd share. I always wanted to build an animatronic Horus helmet- with an emphasis on low budget- and here it is!

    The helmet is constructed of cardstock, paper mache and foam sheet with some thin plywood for the head mech and fan parts. I really wasn't going for super accuracy as this is intended to be a low budget costume helmet instead of an accurate replica. Overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

    It is fully wearable, has five servos for movement and the eyes glow.

                Thanks guys! If anyone has any questions about its construction after reading the tutorial just let me know.

                Now I need to make a ZAT and staff weapon...
