Favorite Classic Western tv series?

For those of us old enough to remember, what was your favorite classic TV Western series? For me it was Gunsmoke hands down.

Mine would be "The Big Valley" because I had a crush on Lee Majors.

I'd throw "Bonanza" and "Gunsmoke" in there too.....and "The Wild Wild West".

I've only seen reruns of Bonanza and The Virginian. I guess I'll say those because I enjoyed both of them.

I used to watch Little House on the Prairie and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, if that counts too.

Of course "The Big Valley", I loved that. Same here I had a terrible crush on Heath Barkley but also Nick wasn't bad

Have Gun Will Travel

I wasn't very fond of westerns, but I liked The Wild Wild West.

Cimarron Strip my all time favourite!

Probably a tie between Have Gun, Will Travel and the Wild, Wild West.

Both of these shows were brilliantly written and both really pushed the envelope on what a Western show could be.

Anyone ever watch the (short-lived) William Shatner series Barbary Coast? From its description, it sounds a bit like Wild, Wild West but I've never met anyone that's actually seen an episode of it.
