Donald Trump is going to be the next president of the United States.

The billionaire businessman who never before held elected office shocked America and the world, defeating Hillary Clinton in an extraordinary rebuke to the nation’s political class after an ugly and divisive race that will go down as the most stunning upset in American history.

Trump did so decisively, stomping across the electoral map with wins in the four biggest battlegrounds of Florida, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania. He defied the polls and pundits after a scorched-earth campaign against Clinton, the Republican establishment, and basic decorum, toppling the blue wall of states that Clinton had supposedly constructed to keep the White House in Democratic hands.

Trump led an unseen rebellion of working-class voters, most of them white and so disgusted by a stalled status quo that they voted for a candidate promising dramatic change, even as Trump set disapproval records for a winning candidate. He also tapped into ethnic antagonism, vowing strict immigration controls, a ban on Muslims and a deportation force, promising an era of restoration.

I don't know the statistics, but it seems that most of the people I know who either "hate" Trump or don't want him in office at all, are mostly DEMocrat or RINO (Republican in Name ONLY... where they support the DEM agendas more than the Conservative / Republican). That applies to everyone I know in my own list of relatives, friends, and also coworkers at work (where accumulated time factor here is over 40 years in the actual work and TAXed force).

Situation exists of a certain *superior* positioned boss, who utterly "hates" Trump with a passion, and makes certain that the entire room hears her when she starts ranting off. She's dragged people into her office to voice off her political views at them, and then expects them to be in agreement with her own, or else... that person suddenly becomes her worst enemy (and this applies to people either equal in position or higher than her job position). So, the rest of the (underling) workers who might disagree with her political POVs are treading on extremely delicate and dangerous ground. Just do the work required and keep any or all POVs to (generic) yourselves. PERIOD.

Imagine living in that kind of "social" environment for eons of years, until you become useless and retire, quit, or get fired. That goes for folks on both sides of the political / POV spectrum. Sadly, this has been the situation with many of the liberal and ultra liberal people I have had to work with prior. I know lots of people who have had to work under these sorts of conditions, and hated it, but worked because they "had" to pay their bills, and didn't have many other job options available.

I was told by my neighbor that if my family HAD anything, he/his family would pillage our home and steal our food/supplies to survive. It put a complete distrust issue between our families, so now they cannot be trusted with anything, whether he was joking or not. It's that "desperate times call for desperate measures" type of living.
