Star Trek; The Next Generation Question for British Fans

Did they ever air the first season episode 'Conspiracy' in the UK? I remember reading in the Star Trek fan club magazine at the time, that the episode had been "Banned in Britain".

Yep. Dunno how long it was banned for, if it was, I remember seeing the episode when I was very young, probably 3 or 4 so that would make it around 1991. Perhaps it was just when first broadcast if it was.
Please do me a huge favour and help me be with the love of my life.

I can't comment on it's first ever UK run, but I know I've seen it on TV in the past. If it was banned it's been lifted as I watched it on Sky One when I first started to get into Trek (around 98, 99).

Thanks, it was first broadcast in the U.S. in 1987.

I'm guessing they didn't show it because of the Remick scene? I also heard that "The High Ground" wasn't shown over there because of a remark about terrorism bringing about Irish Unification in the episode, but I don't know if that's true.

Yes, from what I read in the magazine, it was deemed too graphic.
