Ok so what if it's a double post??? This is really interesting and maybe how the love of bacon got it's start? You know through these tug-o-war with shredded meat games? Who knows? But....I love to see just how these parents teach their young. After M brings a raccoon to the nest...he is seen de-furring it....which in of itself is quite entertaining...but then Mom immediately takes the pelt and uses it as a training tool. At around 6:00 she pulls off a large piece of the pelt that happens to have the raccoon foot attached. She attempts to persuade the E's to pull at it and tear it....but I think they were a bit intimidated by the raccoon foot so Harriet eats it......to their horror?? LOL Then at around 7:30 she pulls off a smaller piece and gets the E's to tug on it with her. Ahhhh life lessons. Watching these wonderful creatures continue to amaze me. I hope it brings you some joy as well.
