Are there transcripts of the DVD Episode commentaries? if not, would it be permissible to make transcripts and post them to this site?

some folks have done them of the season 10 commentaries i believe. But no idea about the others.

I say if you want to spend time typing them up, go for it. You can post the transcripts in the appropriate episode threads

And some people are deaf, the DVDs don't have subtitles for the commentary tracks, right?

dunno if they have subtitles or not. that said, transcripts have certainly settled more than one fandom debate
