What are peoples' thoughts on this? It's not that I dislike it, but it doesn't seem to fit with the visuals of the title sequence to me...

I also agree, I prefer the theme from season 1. Not quite sure what the composer had in mind when he wrote the music for the current theme, it just doesn't have the right feel for a show like sanctuary. I mean, I like it for the musical value, it's a decent enough theme song. Just not the one I would choose for Sanctuary.Signature by Glitch33.

I honestly don't pay much attention to the intro theme. I watch the show online or download it and most eps have a clipped intro and if not, I usually skip ahead because I'm eager to watch the show and don't really feel the need to see the intro every time I watch the show (that goes for any show I watch, not just Sanctuary). I'd be even more pleased if there was no intro at all, just the Sanctuary team standing there to remind people of what show they're watching and then the episode would begin...Unmade Plans (WIP: 11/20):
Sam's life takes a turn in an unexpected direction when she's faced with an unplanned pregnancy. The decision to keep the baby and raise it on her own will alter her life forever. Relationships are put to the test, especially the one between her and Jack. She doesn't know what to expect from him and he surprises her at every turn.
On FFnet or AO3
My S/J fics can be found on FFnet and AO3. I also tweet and tumble about the ship and my writing/stories.

on this subject I am simply repeating myself. As I have already written in another thread:
I like the new theme, it's a well written piece of art, nice to listen to, but for me it's not the theme I associate with Sanctuary. And due to the ten seconds abomination they call theme music I never will.
So nice piece of music but not Sanctuary for me, sorry.sigpic
