              I'm very happy to hear that. TBH, I'm not very familiar with this award, but I'm *so* happy someone recognised SGU. Not only that, but it beat far more recognisible, to general public, nominees.

                  Nice to hear!

                  Of course, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the VFX Emmy (I know it is a long shot, but it would be so nice to have the VFX team honored - they did really top-notch work on SGU!).

                              Although this is discussed extensively in other threads, it makes you wonder whether the studio couldn't self-finance the show, which might make its sale to (e.g.) SyFy more financially acceptable to the latter. With MGM keeping enough rights to sell it overseas as well to make their money back.
