UStream of CD Projekt RED's Spring Conference
      Stuff so far:
      - upcoming new trailer for TW2
      - some gameplay of 360 TW2 (w/ Jesse Cox/OMFGCata) w/ new portions via the EE
      - pre-download of 10GB EE for TW2 on April 11
      - TW1 EE on Mac (via Steam. If you own it on Steam already, you can install on Mac)

      - 'free backup copy' of TW2 at gog.com if you bought a copy elsewhere
...and stuff I may have forgotten. It's ongoing.

Pre-download of the Enhanced Edition (10+ GB) has started.

            edit:
Hehe. Almost 13 GB, since I chose to download Polish voice overs (for about another GB, Russian voice overs are also available), along w/ the 3 standard (came w/ the original game...I guess all the voice overs are being updated, too) voice overs (English, French and German).

I have played a fair way into the first game, and have the first and the second games. I have also watched the TV series and I love that, it is a good fantasy series, I hope they will publish it on DVD eventually.

So I got the EE up and running on my end (should've been sooner, but I 'procrastinated' w/ the pre-download thingy). The Witcher 2 folder now eats up 21+ GB of HDD space.
I guess I'll have to start a new playthrough to see if there's anything new all the way from the start.

Also, while browsing through gog.com's forums, I saw people complaining about framerate drops. I think I encountered that, too. Apparently FPS drops during cinematics/cutscenes. It seems to be relatively smooth, otherwise (still hard to tell on my end...I'm still using a GT 430. Still waiting (lol, the never-ending waiting) for a non-reference GTX 680 to become available at the store I got this PC from).
I've just read that 'cinematic depth of field' is the apparent culprit. Gotta try that later.

Other than that, it's fine so far. Well...there was one CTD: while checking out the videos on the 'extras' part, I clicked on the 'credits' video (the other videos worked fine)...CTD.

Both games are on sale ($42.49 for TW2EE, and $4.99 for TW1EE).
If you already own a copy, then the EE update is free. If you bought a copy outside of gog.com, you can redeem a 'digital backup' for TW2 at gog.com.

It's got very good reviews for the 360 version, I will buy it when I get through my backlog.
