I too was hoping for more alien influences. Seemed like a plain forest. FX team could have thrown in at least some bazaar plant life.
Was it me? Or was there a pretty noticeable continuity error? It went from light to night-time darkness and then back to light. They didn't exactly set up camp and there was no break in the action that would have passed that much time. In the beginning of the episode TJ said "6 hours before we jump." Unless that planet is on some crazy accelerated day/night schedule I just don't see how the remainder of the day, the whole night, and the following morning/afternoon passed by in "6 hours". Did I miss something?
Cannot vote (need mod approval ?)
Anyway would have given 'Hunt' an 8, good episode worth watching - want more
Rewatching the ep and when Chloe was talking to Volker there was 18 or 19 hours left on the clock.
I gave it a 7/10.
Certainly liked it better than last week's.
Mostly for the stuff on Destiny. Loved Rush freezing Brody.
Enjoyed some of the parts/conversations on the planet, but that whole intelligent beast plot was rather wtf. Enjoyed the inclusion of Varro in this ep.
I for one have never tired of the forests of British Columbia. They may be old hat and have trees/areas you know by sight, but I had no problem with this ep having that setting. I think they still make for a beautiful backdrop. At least that village set was destroyed. Give me a forest setting any day over that.
IMO always implied.
I gave it a 7. Probably should have given it a 6. Average episode.
The two best moments were:
1. The look on Chloe's face when she sees brody in the stasis chamber.
2. Greer staring down the alien creature at the end.
didn't like it much just a 5 from me
I gave it a 10.
