Great work! There was actually a sconce similar to your design sold today on eBay. I won a coffee mug from the SG1 set today from the same company.

They look like pieces of acrylic...

Yup the crystals are made from a 1/2 inch thick "Acrylic Plexiglass Sheet".

if you have exact specifications - you can get a local glass shop cut the shapes.

yup these are made from 1/2 inch thick "ACRYLIC PLEXIGLASS SHEET"

if you 've the correct dimensions you can get them cut just like the originals - i had mine cut from a local glass store...

Full height is 4 Feet Tall.
Final version will be designed so 2 can be put together to make total of 8 feet.

I will have to go to a store to get them cut if I do it, last time I tried to cut glass it was reinforced safety glass and spent 30 min cleaning up the little pieces.

Acrylic doesn't shatter like glass.. it can be cut on a tablesaw.. if you have a blade for cutting acrylic I've used acrylic in a few models.. sometimes I cut it myself on a tablesaw and other times with a laser cutter

Have to look and see if we have a blade. Might be fun to make if I have time.

True Guys - it can be cut with the right blade, i have cut it before on a table saw but that one was 1/8 thick. the one i used is 1/2 inch thick, i did manage to cut a square but cutting the shape was a different story - thats when i called the store.

I am also working on a smaller model of the same light, this time i am going to have the shop cut the crystals including buying the Acrylic from them lets see how much it will cost..
will update you guys if i manage to get this done soon . .

Hmmm, I might do this soon. My uncle builds cabinets and display cases and stuff for a living from hand and he will probably have a saw that can cut the crystals.
