But I'll pick two (3 if we are being exact), from the beginning and the end:

Totally different, but both stick in my mind years after I first saw them, which I think says something.

Atlantis rising from the water, like Destiny flying through a star, is one of those sci-fi images that will just stay with me always.

Yes Rising seems to be on most everyone's best episode list- And how can it not be!That was just epic the city rising from the water. It set the tone for the whole show.
That's got to be one of my favorite sci-fi images along with Destiny flying through a star
and The Enterprise coming up from the Rings of Saturn in the 2009 Star Trek.

Lots of great episodes are listed, and it makes me want to watch a couple tonight.

RE: Whispers

Okay, so I went ahead and gave this episode and The Seed another go 'round yesterday, and I still think that The Seed is one of the very, very few instances where Keller is actually *just okay* for season 5, and of course Beckett and the rest of the team was great (I still think he should have gotten his job back). It wasn't the best story, but it was alright, especially compared to much of season 5.

Back to Whispers, well, it's still not the best episode to me, but most of the Beckett stuff is great. This episode had the potential to be one of the best of the season, but for me it fell kind of flat. Still, Beckett and Mckay at the beginning was great, as well as Beckett/McKay/Sheppard at the end (just terrific!!! ), Beckett and Sheppard, Beckett, and some parts of the Beckett and Porter interaction was nice. So, that's pretty much what I'll watch in the future. I don't think I'll watch this again from beginning to end, but it's great for skipping though it for the character stuff.

Hmmm, reading over this makes me wonder: Can anybody guess who my favorite character is? LOL.
