I don't shun spoilers, but I don't actively seek them out. To me, reading something in text is very different than seeing it visually on screen.

For me I've seen a lot science fiction, and much of the time am able to predict where it will go. Not all the time though.

For example, for the series Lost, I expected there to be an alternate dimension that was actually caused by them setting off the nuclear bomb, instead of what they gave us. But of course, the afterlife can also be considered an alternate dimension as well. That kind of threw me a curve ball.
