    Chloe's miracle blood

In Trial and Error, we learn that Scott not only recovered his full health thanks to Chloe's blood transfusion, but also won't be mutating into an alien himself.

Did Destiny's crew find the ultimate solution to all medical problems? Shouldn't Earth/Young be interested in researching Chloe and her blood instead of locking her up for good or dropping her in a random planet?

    Thoughts?

Somehow I doubt we have the equipment for detailed analysis of Chloe's blood.

Earth definitely, Young... I don't know if he cares much for research .

Only problem is what to research her with. I mean, the chair could probably do some monitoring (record her DNA changes or something), but unless they find a medical/research lab, it seems there is not much to use on Destiny.

edit: Note to self: Don't go get coffee before clicking send. You'll find yourself accidentally reposting random people's thougths .

What happened to the ancient lab they've found on Destiny?

There must be something in there to scan human body and DNA analyzer within the ship computer program in that lab.

there's no way to know what else Chloe's blood might be doing so there's no way to know what kind of danger she might be

Sure, it helped Scott but at what cost?

Risk vs. Reward. I think as everyone pointed out, if there was some way to harness Chloe's "upside" I think it would be a tougher decision. As of Trial and Error however, I see a lot of risk and not much possible reward with what the Destiny has now.

And if that's not enough, they could always bring a specialist on board via the stones to "MacGyver" the necessary equipment using random Ancient/Tau'ri tech, either that or find Destiny's Sick Bay?

I have no idea what that computer does. You're talking more then just a microscopic view of someone's blood if want to figure how to conduct a synthesis of those healing powers

                  seems being the operative word
lots of things seem fine, until they're not

Until Rush comes clean about his control of the bridge and Destiny's systems. Im betting there are all sorts of funky Ancient healing devices aboard that they will get to use.

I don't like maybes. I go with what we have now. Now we have no way to really examine the composition of Chloe's blood and no knowledge of an Ancient device that can. An Ancient device kind of feels like a cop out of the Chloe arc

Chloe's miracle blood killed the plant spores, but that's not a clear indication it would cure anything.

And how are they going to be able to test it out on say-anyone sick with HIV or Luekemia, cancer, ect when nothing can physically travel from the ship to Earth and Vice Versa?
Unless someone gets sick on the ship.
