In the end but if BSG was cancelled prematurely the same questions would be raised.

That's a shame I thought they were very stingy with airing the show they should have been better about that

Now it is afflicted with ridiculous low-budget monster movies and as you said, wrestling...

And most of what it does show film wise is less fan fave thn what caprica had for a following.. BUT they still make/show them..

I am not surprised but I am disappointed it was a cool show I hope it doesn't end on a cliff hanger

blood and chrome, i think, will be the same way. it'll tell the story of the first cylon warr and will likely start with the war beginning, end with the abrupt cease fire and the show is over.

it's kinda like the star wars prequels in a way, there's no need to tell every detail of all 20 years, just the hilights.
oh i agree, however it was interesting to read see the cool stuff about the show

This is sad, I loved Caprica so much more than BSG, even SGU. Well......I hope this doesn't stop any further BSG spinoffs from taking place.

Read this; I've been a fan of Eric's site for a very long time and this article is intriguing, to say the absolute least.
seems like a fast way to go bankrupt as a TV company to be honest, there's a reason why the newspaper business is overwhelmingly backing away again from putting most of their news reports online for free and making it pay to read again and that is that a) online ads still don't make up for the income that newspaper ads + physical newspaper sales/online subscriptions (and by analogy I'm guessing TV ads/cable fees) do and b) very few people actually decide to pay more to lose ads or get some silly accessories when they can have the bare essentials for free already
I'm an average viewer. As plain as they come. People make TV shows based on my demographic.

    Million's of ZPM's, ZPM's for free! Millions of ZPM's, ZPM's for me!

So if Firefly fans are called browncoats, what would Caprica fans be called?

But both fans will never be able to admit that the shows are just not very good shows.

Too much religion and not enough sex! They had New Capria and V-world, and all I could remember was Zoe in yucky silver spandex. Puke.

Agreed, there wasn't enough sex. In all the promo material for the series you saw a naked Zoe with an apple, and what do we get in the series? She doesn't even show her skin once!
    Mia: Don't you hate that?
    Vincent: Hate what?
Mia: Uncomfortable silences. Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullsh*t in order to be comfortable?
    Vincent: I don't know. That's a good question.
Mia: That's when you know you've found somebody really special: you can just shut the f*** up for a minute and comfortably share silence.
