    SGU extras

    Anyone notice a lot of the people in the theater/town/party were extras that we often see on destiny... cool move by the producers IMO.

    I couldn't help but focus on how they made sure to show that it was a MGM movie (Lion roar).. and then movie was terrible.

      I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be terrible haha.

        Still... they cant make it cool or whatev because they had to use some of their own VFX budget to make the fake movie...

        But hey... MGMs produced worse movies then far afield before.

          But why waste the money? Still costs to add their fancy graphics. I liked it the way it was cheesy, made me laugh

              Maybe they should have showed a SyFy logo, it would have made even more sense.

                          i did, and was like why do i know that building. than realized what it was later.

                          that is a good move, cheap to use the people they have anyway and it goes with scotts theme of having people from destiny in his thing.

                            Agreed.
                            And I didn't notice that the building should be familiar the first time through but then I was jumping to random frames just to look at the visuals and happened to get the right moment and suddenly realised what I was looking at
