Personally I'm holding out for a complete Season 1 on Blu, but hey it's a start

Much nicer cover art than the 1.0 release, but still kind of plain IMO.

Again, holding out for a Complete Season 1 on Blu

Official announcement, as posted by the good folks over at TVShowsOnDVD. Looks like it'll be out before Syfy gets around to airing the last batch of episodes, so you yanks will be able to watch it legally soon enough

The fact that you'll be able to buy it on DVD before its aired just proves how much SyFy didnt give a crap about the show imho..

What would the cost implications be of it being a web only show like Sanctuary started off as?
Caprica has too many stories to tell to just die and be replace by another preBSG spin off, even if they just have a few 6 episode mini seasons like we do here in the UK.

SyFy will no doubt move the new preBSG spin off around and fail to promote it properly and then that'll fail as well, they have no commitment to the shows that they commision, and are a bunch of 'tards.
