I've read the books, apparently the script of the film is based losely around the killer robots from 'last human' that are hunting for.... well the last human, Lister.
I believe that Craig Charles (Lister), has the greatest comedy timing ever....
*at a vending machine*
Lister - "Lister, RD-52169!"
vender - "Yeth, can I help You?"
Lister - "You've got a lisp."
vender - "Yeth, the lithp malfuncthion hath been reported to the thcutterth. Thorry for the inconvinienth."
Lister - "Can you give me a bacon sandwich with French mustard and black
coffee?"
*vending machine dispenses a pair of wellies*
Lister - "Your vocabulary unit's not working either."
vender - "Yeth, I know. Thith altho hath been reported to the

The Rimmer song is one of the funniest things I've ever seen on tv, it's brilliant!!
The commentaries on the dvds are hilarious! Even if they do spend more time watching the show than talking about it

The first novel made me LOL, the second bored me. But neither were much like the original programmes. Sort of an AU Red Dwarf.

i watched polymorph last night it was hilarious
I think we're all beginning to loose sight of the real issue here, which is what are we going to call ourselves? I think it comes down to a choice between The League Against Salivating Monsters, or, my own personal preferance, which is The Committee for the Liberation and Intergration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society.
