Stargate Atlantis Alternate Universe

They find Atlantis' stagate address but the gate cannot connect because of some kind of subspace interference. So they decide to go there on the Star night the X-303-A Prometheus' (note this would retcon season 8,9,10 out except New order). Col. Sam Carter and Dr Jackson are on the mission as well.
On the edge of Pegasus the ship plunges out of hyperspace to hit a blue barrier. They then receive a message in Ancient which says “This Galaxy has been quarantined, unless you are Lantean proceed no further.”
McKay and carter then adjust the Star Night’s Hyperspace geometry to breach the barrier. It works then they enter the hyperspace window but it does not close. When the ship emerges it’s ambushed by a wraith cruiser within 3 shots it depletes their shields-and naquada enhanced warheads have no effect just as the wraith prepare to destroy them a Lantean warship appears and fires 50 drones, the all are destroyed by the shields they then launch 18 which all get through and destroys it the hologram of the captain appears on the bridge accusing them of breaking quarantine.
They ask the Lantean about Atlantis the Lantean closes her eyes and concentrates suddenly the Star Night is towed by the ancient ship to a planet like Asuras but it is not Lantea.
It is here the expedition are told about the wraith and how the verge of defeat they were able to retake their territories and drag out the war over the many millennia between now and then. The Lanteans were forced to abandon Atlantis, which is right where it was on Lantea underwater with a failing shield.
After much deliberation between Daniel, Mckay and the Lanteans decide to relocate them to Atlantis and close the Hyperspace portal.

Stargate Atlantis Alternate Universe
1x01 “The Origo”

Drs Mckay and Jackson are trying to convince a Scottish doctor(Dr Beckett) to sit in the control chair they finally succeed and he sits in the chair, a drone suddenly activates and launches itself from a dissection table and up through the shaft. A helicopter is on it’s way to the outpost when the occupants receive a warning about the drone. Shepperd tells O’Neill the “it’s too late” as the drone comes towards them…

The helicopter banks left then right just avoiding being hit. Back in the chair room Elizabeth Weir and Colonel Carter dash in (they were awaiting O’Neill’s arrival on top of the ice) both Daniel and Rodney are trying to convince Beckett to shut the drone down, he still insists he can not, but under the verbal onslaught of Carter, Mckay, Jackson and Weir he tries again and to his disbelief the drone shuts down.

O’Neill and Shepperd arrive at the glass dome which conceals the outpost then enter the circumference of ring transporters which activate and send the pair underground. O’Neill and Daniel exchange pleasantries as the go into his lab where Daniel and Rodney tell Weir, Carter and O’Neill about Atlantis’ location. After at first refusing is persuaded to let them go.

The Stargate refuses to lock, O’Neill says that they should give up when the president calls and tell them to travel the ‘old fashioned way’ to Pegasus via The Star Night.
The trip lasts 3 weeks and McKay and Daniel practice their ancient.
When at the edge of Pegasus the ship falls out of hyperspace to see a bluish white barrier which their sensors tell them are subspace eddies so densely packed that it would be impossible to navigate through both hyperspace and normal space. It looks like the expedition is over when they receive a transmission it reads “This Galaxy has been quarantined, unless you are Lantean proceed no further.”

good idea but from the looks of it you need to add more to your chapters they should be anywhere between 2k 10k words
