Should they bring back red?

This is not a petition.

Just interested in other people's opinions, whether you used this forum before they got rid of red (ability to give negative rep, therefore removing points from your reputation) or not.

My opinion: it should have stayed as a means to discourage annoying or flaming posts.....but since its removal I haven't found it impended my use of the forum. Although I don't think I gave much red before anyway.

The only time I got dinged was when someone decided they hated a character and they would go through a thunk thread and give out some red. Completely stupid.

the old saying 'if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all' comes to mind and, while I definitely don't agree with being super nice all the time, giving people a sneaky way to be nasty would seem to me to inspire a lot of mean-spirited cowardly attacks

Red is bad , imagine you getting red because the other user didn't like you sig , you red him back , he reds you , you talk to a few friends and start a war , that's why red is out and it should stay out

I don't think red has any significant positive impact on those posts anyways. It would only worsen the situation further in fact. That's what I think.
