    Watching too much TV!

Do you find that you watch too much television? I did, and I've cut back significantly. I hardly watch TV anymore, I just watch news and movies. In regards to my favorite TV shows, I watch them on the computer. I'm collecting some older shows on DVD (mostly Star Trek and Stargate) while keeping up with Sanctuary and perhaps Stargate: Universe through the internet. Generally, I try to keep a limit of 3 hours of TV per day. Granted, this excludes news.

Woah, thats the opposite to me, I love tv as much as the next person but I cant seem to watch anything but Stargate now *which is why I cannot wait for Season 2 of SGU*, and now all I watch is SG and Movies.

Funny thing, I have never even seen one episode of:

      24
      Lost
      House M.D
      Town Called Eureka
      Sanctuary
      Doctor Who
      Battlestar Galactica
      True Blood
      Dexter
      Any of the CSI's
      The Sopranos
      Andromeda
      Farscape
      V
      FireFly

and thats not a joke, I just never got around to watching them.

I used to be borderline addicted to television, at a point where it was just about the most important thing in my life and I made sure to fit everything around it. It got a bit scary, if I'm honest.

I've backed off a lot since then, and now I barely watch TV. There are only a handful of shows I watch regularly - Chuck and A Town Called Eureka are the only ones that are currently airing (I'm also watching the repeat of SGU, but I didn't watch much of it last time so it isn't technically a rewatch). Everything else I watch is either a DVD, the news or just the occasional random program that catches my eye, but it doesn't happen often.
And now it's time for one last bow, like all your other selves. Eleven's hour is over now... the clock is striking Twelve's.

Yes, definitely. One of the funniest new shows I've seen in a long time. I'm very glad it got a second season pickup

Nothing wrong with a little TV for entertainment, that's why I try to focus on just movies. However, I'm also following Sanctuary and trying to watch Stargate: Universe. By the way, bravo for promoting reading for entertainment!

Ill try to keep tracks on Stargate Universe, Sanctuary,Glee, Fringe, LOST (well not anymore), V, True Blood and Human Target as well as Chuck and these are only new ones. This fall I am gonna ad more shows to the list such as: No Ordinary Family (hell it looks like The Incredibles only in real I hope it does well cause I really like the man from Shield), Broadwalk Empire and the Walking Dead. I hope these three shows will get many seasons I am praying especially for No Ordinary Family the other won will get many seasons I am sure of that because of HBO and AMCs shows were always good.

I watch a lot of TV, but I don't let it control my life. If I have something going on, I either DVR or just miss what I was going to watch on television. There are always ways to catch up if an episode is missed.

Speaking of new shows, The Walking Dead does look interesting. If it plays out as suspense and survivalist, I'm going to watch. If it's just typical zombie horror, I'll pass. I'm hoping for something different.
