Got another one for you! We're AU, and accept original and canon characters. We've been open 9 months and are going strong, and would love to have you on board! Here's our premise, so wander on over and give us a look.
Almost six years ago, the Atlantis Expedition left earth for the Pegasus Galaxy,
looking for the City of Atlantis, the lost civilisation of the Ancient Ones.
And they found it. Despite knowing that it was a one way trip, no-one expected
what they found - a city in its dying days, with no energy left to sustain it.
In desperation, a team was sent on exploratory mission through the Stargate,
to one of the local planets, where they befriended a race called the Athosians,
a peaceful race living in fear of the Wraith on a daily basis. The Wraith,
a race of energy vampires, scoured the Pegasus Galaxy, culling humans
for food, leaving destruction in their wake.
The team was captured by the Wraith, along with the Athosian leader Teyla
Emmagan, and held captive. After a bloody battle in which many lives were
sacrificed, the team made it back to Atlantis, taking Teyla and Halling
with them, only to find the city creaking, groaning and straining
against the might of the ocean under which it had sheltered
for 10,000 years.
With no means of powering the city, the expedition awaited its watery death...
one which never came.
To their surprise, an Ancient scientist named Janus had built a failsafe
into the city for times such as this - a failsafe which drew on the unstable
particles of subspace to provide power to the city, and activate its
star drive, enabling it to fly.
Suddenly, and with an ear-splitting roar, the city's star drive kicked in,
transporting the city to safety, but not before taking its occupants through
a rift in time and space.
Five years on, the city still travels through Pegasus, through a myriad
alternate universes, as the star drive activates uncontrollably every
twelve days, bringing the team fresh adventures - and fresh danger -
at every turn.
Intermediate to advanced, and rated R for adult themes and violence, we
are accepting canons and originals. Come and join the adventure!
