Here is the Intro to the Season 6 RPG.

    -------------

Sitting in the chair control room with Rodney McKay by his side, John felt like he was coming home, even though he’d technically never left it. Earth had been fun, especially the part where he didn’t die saving the planet, but it was nice to come back with the intent of finishing what he’d started. Rodney interrupted his train of thought. “Kinda like coming back after a vacation, huh?”

Sheppard raised the corner of his lip as he sat on the control chair of Atlantis, their weeklong journey back to Pegasus finally complete as they now dropping into orbit of a new planet, far away from both Lantea and New Lantea, John felt like calling it New New Lantea but Woolsey had vetoed it instantly. It was only time before the naming craze started and Sheppard wasn’t looking forward to it. “This is work to you?”

Rodney shrugged as he worked on his tablet, feeding Sheppard all the information he’d need to land the city on the ocean. “Well I’m several million light years from the nearest Tim Hortons so yes, this is work to me.”

“Tim Hortons?” Sheppard furrowed his brow. “You mean that coffee shop?”

“Yeah.” Rodney noted that they were just about ready to begin their descent. “Why you know it?”

Sheppard nodded. “Base in Afghanistan had it, good stuff.” Before Rodney could reply, Sheppard activated communications. “Mr. Woolsey, I’m ready to begin our descent.”

“Excellent. Do try and keep us in one piece, Colonel.” Sheppard rolled his eyes and kept his snark to himself. They needed to start this new mission out on a good footing.

Rodney didn’t have that feeling though. “Oh don’t worry Woolsey, Sheppard’s a pilot, not a Doctor.”

Carson’s voice cut in irately. “I heard that. Expect a physical sooner than you think.”

A few chuckles were heard throughout the city, and Sheppard finally took in a deep breath. “Hang on, this might get a little bumpy.”

    Reclamation RPG

Carson sighed to himself as he reorganized his desk. The landing had been rough on impact with the water and his stacks of paper were in disarray. He swore to get back at Sheppard later on, but now he had more serious concerns.

“You know, you could probably digitize all that paperwork. Save you a lot of time.”

Carson sighed, he didn’t need this right now. “I’m sure it’d be quite simple to scan in several hundred if not thousands of pages, Dr. Mckay.”

Jennifer laughed and covered her mouth. “Oh god… I’m never going to get used to that.” She moved from her position on the jamb of the door and sat down in front of Carson. “We’ve got a lot of work to do soon. The retrovirus is going to be our top priority now.”

Carson nodded and drummed his fingers on the desk. “There’s still problems with it, we will need to do more testing, hopefully we can convince Todd to assist us.”

Jennifer pulled a face. “Let’s hope, he wasn’t that cheery the last time I saw him.”

    Carson raised and eyebrow. “Oh?”

    Reclamation RPG

Sheppard pumped his fists in anxiety. Something told him things were going to be rough coming back but nothing said that more than the way Teyla looked as she came through the Stargate with Major Lorne’s team. He moved forward to see them. “What is it?”

Teyla looked up at Sheppard and sighed. “They’re gone. Culled.”

Sheppard gritted his teeth, it wasn’t odd for villages to get culled in Pegasus, but it still got to him. “Any survivors?”

“None.” Teyla rubbed her forehead, Sheppard could see she had a headache.

Lorne added. “We still have the Coalition to hit up. Maybe they can tell us what’s going on.”

Sheppard nodded and looked up to Woolsey’s office. He wasn’t looking forward to telling Woolsey what the situation was sizing up to be.

Ronon growled softly and kept his gun’s holster clasp open. In a moment he could snap it up and take out the two rifle armed Genii ahead of the group, but the others in the woods around them would be more difficult to hit. He watched with curiosity as Woolsey moved forward to meet the Coalition leaders.

He’d seen this sort of thing before, an attempt to unite against the Wraith. It was futile. None of the Coalition had the technology to fight Hives, and even the Genii could barely build nukes.

Sateda had tried to form alliances once, it quickly led to massacres as the Wraith found out soon and smashed their combined forces. Ronon had only been a child at the time, but the warriors who’d come out of that battle alive were hardened beyond belief.

With Atlantis and the Earthborn’s help though… perhaps the threat of the Wraith could be eliminated. He wasn’t too sure on Carson and Jennifer’s idea of using the retrovirus, but in the end of it all, he still had his gun, he still had his sword, and if the Wraith didn’t follow through…

Sheppard stood next to him, his hand hovering above his P-90. “Relax Chewie, just a meet and greet. We’ve got backup remember?”

Ronon smiled, cloaked jumpers indeed made for a great surprise if needed. But seeing the Coalition leaders greet Woolsey without over hostility,

    Reclamation RPG

Waking up this time was different, unlike the hibernation, it wasn’t a restful awakening that gave him great energy, this just felt like he was waking up from being unconscious.

    “Hold him up!”

He felt a pair of arms hold him up from the sides as he fell forward, but summoning strength from inside, he brushed off the aide and opened his eyes. He was still on Atlantis, and there were at least a half dozen soldiers with guns and stunners pointed at him. Woolsey stood in front of him and nodded. “I assume you’re well rested?”

Todd snarled and stretched his neck from side to side. It’d literally been months since last feeding, but the stasis chamber had kept him from wasting away for the majority of that time. He still wished he’d gotten a chance to taste another Milky Way human, they were so much less stringy than Pegasus’. He didn’t acknowledge Woolsey’s question, and tried to make out the situation.

Were they going to let him go? Were they finally going to kill him? No, they wouldn’t have revived him if they just wanted to kill him. They only would have brought him back if they needed him… that meant they were back in Pegasus, away from their homeworld.

He looked around, and smiled upon seeing him. “Ahh.. Sheppard to what do I owe the pleasure?”

    Reclamation RPG

Note to players: From here, the expedition would tell Todd that the Wraith have gone back to fighting themselves in the interim from EATG to the present, approximately 7-8 months. They’re culling without regard for each other or keeping the stock up, in survival mode basically. Todd and Woolsey would come up with the plan to put Todd back into power in the Wraith to calm them. Better the devil you know. More research done into the Retrovirus as well.

They would do this by dressing Teyla up as a Wraith Queen again, but they’d have to infiltrate a Hive and claim it in order to have credibility with the other Wraith.

While that’s going on, Sheppard and others would investigate other Pegasus humans and find out that the Pasgard (Pegasus Asgard) have been abducting more people for their genetic research. Possible connection with SG-1 here and Daniel. Check out a few villages, get clues, eventually find out that the Pasgard have been looting worlds for Ancient technology they've been adapting to use themselves. Possible realliance with the Travelers who know the galaxy better than the expedition.

      {Lieutenant General Jack O'Neill}- {Richard Woolsey~ NPC}
The trip from Colorado had been delayed, Strom was called back to DC at the last moment which pleased Jack no end. So it fell to him alone to bid Atlantis and her personnel a last farewell from Earth. Her numbers had been bolstered with people from all over the world, civilian specialists and military. Jennifer's medical team was given a boost with the addition of one of Earth's top combat surgeons, Captain (Navy) Doctor Anne MacGregor. Of course she insisted that Jennifer would still be CMO, Anne would simply be there as a surgeon and adviser until she returned to the Milky Way fleet. It was Jack's own recommendation and Doctor Keller welcomed it warmly, having worked with the Australian Doctor once before.

Standing in the control room, Jack faced the assembled crowd who stood in front and around Atlantis's gate. John Sheppard, Richard Woolsey, Teyla and Ronon stood nearby. He had his coms link on and in touch with Oddysey, high in Earth orbit at the time.

"It gives me a great feeling to have the honour of seeing you all off." He started. "Not that I don't like having you guys here." He smiled. "In fact I kinda got used to my office here." He looked at Woolsey. "But the time has come, and for now I bid you godspeed and goodluck."

He shook as many hands as he could and at the last he spoke to Woolsey. "You know Dick, we've had our differences, but it turned out ok didn't it. I only wish you could be there with me when I return to DC and face this international assembly." He shook hands firmly.

"General, if I could, you know I would, but for some reason Strom doesn't want me around. He thinks I've gone over to the dark side." He chuckled softly which surprised Jack, he never saw the lighter side of the Suit, often.

"I'm ready when you are Oddysey." Then he was gone.

        {Jennifer Keller}

Jennifer ran her fingertips lightly over the tablet's surface, highlighting the salient points. Points she wanted to take to Todd, because while he'd been in stasis there had been developments. She knew he wasn't going to just acquiesce, and help them just because she was on her way to ask. Well, that and make certain a prolonged period in an Ancient stasis chamber hadn't scrambled his brains. Or something...

"You might want to take this, Doctor."

A nurse handed Keller her stethoscope, and she took it with a certain amount of resignation. There really was no way out of this, and she had to undertake a full medical. Like it or not.

"Thanks," she murmured, the tone not entirely convincing, for either party.

Thing was, it wasn't as if she was going to be closeted on her own with a Machiavellian predator; she'd have one or two marines there as well.

          {Doctor Anne MacGregor} - {Jennifer Keller}
After having been cooped up on the Apollo for almost three weeks, Anne was so glad to be able to breathe real air. She had a briefing with Richard Woolsey and John Sheppard to bring her up to speed and then sought out the one person she knew on Atlantis. Leaning against a wall after an SF allowed her in, she watched the young woman who had been under her tutelage a few what seemed short years ago. "And how is my favourite student doing these days." She said softly, not wanting to startle Jennifer in any way.

Keller started, and turned at the sound of the voice intruding on her thoughts. "Oh, hi Anne. I didn't hear you come in." The younger woman allowed a warm smile to form on her lips, and she gave a small shrug. "How am I? Fine, fine..." Catching MacGregor's eyes, she added truthfully, "Not precisely looking forward to the medical ahead of me. Todd can be... well... very condescending." She nodded at the tablet in her arms. "Kinda hoping this will stave off some of the snark."

Anne came and hugged Jennifer warmly and stepped back. "My you're quite the doctor now aren't you. Mr Woolsey and Colonel Sheppard told me wonderful things about you." Anne looked into the holding cell and the unfamiliar figure of the wraith within. "He's a handsome one isn't he, for my first Alien encounter. Now from all I've read how they feed, it's essentially the essence of human life force, which as you remember Jen, is mostly sourced from our proteins and carbohydrates. The wraith do have an intestinal system, which goes into dormancy after puberty. We can restimulate that with a cocktail of essential amino acids and a high protein mix, and infuse it into him whilst he's asleep. Am I on the right track so far?"

"Thanks, Anne, it's real good to see you too." Jennifer cast a look over the unconcscious Wraith, as she spoke, and frowned. "Handsome? Yeah, I guess... never really considered it." The younger woman considered the cocktail MacGregor suggested, and shook her head. "In all the trials I've run, and those Carson undertook, it remained obstinately dormant until a modified version of the retrovirus was introduced."Looking a little rueful, Keller added, "We can try it, as it's more than likely he'll be ready to feed on whoever is unlucky enough to be around, as well as being in a major pissy. Believe me, I've seen it."

Anne looked deeply at Todd apparently sleeping or feigning sleep, then it hit her like a brick wall. She was often cited as being somewhat of a heretic in medicine and surgery, but that heresy had proven itself over and over again. "Jennifer, during my debrief on the Gamma base, I learnt about Carson Beckett's research on the the Iratus bug, I presume he still has tissue samples on ice?"

                    "There are," Jennifer agreed.

Turning from Anne, she placed the tablet on the work bench and walked to the tall freezer that stood in the corner of the infirmary, and beckoned the other woman over. She opened the door. revealing the carefully stored, and neatly labelled rows of samples. A few had Beckett's untidy scrawl across them, but more showed Jennifer's much neater hand.

"After we discovered the lab belonging to Michael, I did a lot more work. As you can see." A wave of her hand encompassed the entire bottom three rows. "It was this version that partially succeeded, even if it did give them cancer."

Anne looked at the samples until she found one that was pure and not touched. "Basic DNA chemistry 101 Jen. Give me an hour and I'll extract the prime DNA that equates to the Wraith genome. A diluted strain and mixed with our enzyme and protein cocktail, will give him the wakeful boost he'll need. For all intensive purposes he'll believe he has had a nice and satisfying feed." She lifted the petri dish out and walked over to a lab bench, found the necessary instruments and switched on a digital microscope. "Jen I'll need perhaps ten mililitres of isopropyl if you have some handy." Anne spoke as she placed the dish under the lens.

Ronon leaned against the door post, he saw that Teyla was a little upset. They had just returned from their last fruitless mission, another empty settlement, it was starting to get on everyone's nerves. He ambled in and sat next to her. "Hey" he said quietly and put his arm around her.

"What do we do now, Ronon? We cannot keep on searching blindly. There is nothing there. Just... nothing. Every world..." She did not finish, there was a lump in her throat.

"We keep looking for anwers Teyla. Sheppard will not stop until something leads us in the right direction." He stood and walked to the window looking out at the sea. "Sometimes I wish we could have stayed on Earth and left all of this behind us, you know what I mean?" he put his hands on the window and and stared hard at the rolling waves.

There had been a few anomalies in the last tests she'd run, things that the computer didn't like in the simulations. It probably meant she would need to make further adjustments to the base pairs, and that was work that could really do with a fresh influx of Wraith DNA. There were some things in the redundant parts of their DNA she was really interested in, and might hold the key.

"How's it going, Anne?" she asked finally, nerves finally getting to her and wanting to get to the Brig sooner rather than later.
