Janus glared at the two Wraith, his eyes angry. "You would do well to watch yourself, Wraith," he sneered in Ancient, before turning away and taking a step behind McKay. He still felt rather foolish, but the anger was welling up inside him.

This certainly wasn't the best way for the Humans' leader to see him for the first time...

A smug smile crossed Todd’s face as he contemplated taking the energy from this Lantean remnant but such an action was not achievable now so he satisfied himself with one more dig at his old enemy. “How true to character. Even after ten thousand years a defeated Lantean is still as arrogant as ever.”

But he would not allow this little confrontation to sidetrack his and Bonewhite’s purpose so, without waiting for a reply, he turned back to Woolsey. “We were on our way to find out why one of our darts has come to your city before being distracted by this one’s arrival. I believe that is still more important than wasting our time here.”

Though he hated it, there was some truth in the Wraith's words. They stung, and he realized he had been arrogant. Mumbling to himself in Ancient, Janus busied himself by watching what the humans were doing.
