ZPM too much for the asgard?

Hey guys I was wondering this and I know this is based on speculation but I would like to hear people's opinions on it but....

Did the asgard choose not to make ZPM or couldn't they?

The reason I ask is because the ZPM is a pretty powerful piece of tech and the asgard are really advanced and I would say in some areas more then the ancients so I was just wondering what everyone thought about that

im thinking theres more to them then is written in any database, you cant just get the plans and presto make your own zpm's.

think what would happen if a ZPM would fall into replicators hands ( legs , whatever )

The Asgard arent' advanced enough and/or they don't have the plans.
Robert Jastrow (self-proclaimed agnostic): "For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries."

i think this is the reason: anything highly convenient for an asgard is even more convenient for a Replicator.

the ancient's uberconvenient technology led to their downfall. the asgard clearly wished not to make the same mistake.

we don't know anything about the powercore but it might aswell be a ZPM-type powersource. as i said, we don't know. the last asgard powersource that was named was the Neutrino Ion Generator, and that was a reactor on a ship so old it was featured in LEGENDS.

the O'neill features no big bulges which represent reactors. in fact, it's practically the same size as a Beliskner but superior in every way by a massive amount. so superior, they had to specifically advance ship building technology

The Asgard arent' advanced enough and/or they don't have the plans.
doesn't have to be or look like a ZPM. it's possible the asgard have their own microverse technology but it looks vastly different. could be bigger, for instance. the ancients had at least 30 million years to advance ZPM technology to the point where they fit in your bag. the Asgard could have their own ZPM's but then as humongous reactors on their ships....

but the only real answer is: we don't really know

The Asgard didn't need ZPMs. Considering they could cross galaxies just as fast as the Ancients, they probably had their own versions.

well then the true question is:

when we talk about "did the asgard have ZPM's"

are we talking about ZPM's or ZPM technology?

because i say no to the first, yes to the latter.

so this is another ambiguous question ?

they have Asgard core so they don't need ZPM

They have a computer so they don't need ZPMs?

no the ACC has a powersource of it's own.

as it was used to power the TDF (along with the ZPM) it has a significant output and long lifetime.

so it's possible it's a ZPM, or ZP technology

no this is confusion. some people talk about ZPM's as in those lill crystals, but we might as well be talking about the technology.

so it's possible the asgard have the technology but we simply didn't recognise it. i mean, what was the last time we were onboard an O'neill. besides, Asgard ZPM's can easily be much bigger than the lantean varient
