Episode Numbers Question

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is Warehouse 13 going to be a 13 episode series? As in the entire run? Or are they going to pull a Sanctuary, first two seasons having 13 episodes, then extened it?

Very hard to say because the orders are done separately every year.

And by the way, the first two seasons are 12 episodes, not 13. The first season, though, had 13 hours but the official sources count the first two hours as one episode.

Unknown. We won't know the new episode count when and if SyFy decides to renew for a S3.

It all depends on TPTB. For seasons 1 and 2 of Eureka, there were 12 and 13 episodes (respectively) for both seasons, but syfy ordered 22 episodes for season 3 (though we only got 18 due to the writers strike).

From what I've heard Jack Kenny, show runner & executive producer, he'd like it to stay to 13 eps but it will honestly depend on what SyFy wants in that respect.

The way the eps are broken up is different in the US than in the UK and else where. In the US, the Pilot (2 hours) is counted as 1 eps therefore it's only 12 eps long (but 13 hours long total). In the UK and Australia, the Pilot was split as in one hour was shown first then a week later the second hour was shown. So in that respect the UK & Australia (and other areas) are counting 13 eps. *shrug*
