I really didn't notice his character much in the beginning of the series, but now toward the end, there is definitely some appeal there ... is his hair different? His attitude? I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's quite nice.

I'm watching 2012 at the moment and i thought i saw a familiar face, it's none other than Patrick Gilmore he played an ark communications officer, there were 2 other Stargate actors in that movie Bates from SG Atlantis and Coombs from SG-1.

Is this a misstatement on his part? It sounds like he's saying he was there from the very beginning (CotG). I think he means Gary and Amanda were there from the beginning, but not himself.

I think there were three, Gary Jones, Amanda Tapping and myself who were there from the first episode of SG-1.
