It's another thing entirely to dismantle the beaming tech, or any other part of a battlecruiser, and sneak it away without anyone noticing. actually there are detector for brainwashing, The Tok'ra invented it.
They use a device similar to Goa'uld memories device, but it compare the conscious memories and the unconscious memories.And check for inconsistence .
But it wasn't very reliable.
