    Default Going under the knife

Some of you will remember my thread a while back about being able to fit back into a pair of pants (lol) because I'm getting surgery...

Well, I check in to the hospital tomorrow and am not (supposed to be) out till Wednesday, so I'll be signing off for a bit.

    Behave without me, hm?

As Edward Murrow would say, "Good night and good luck." I'm sure you'll do just fine Digi. About 9 years ago, a friend of mine had to have 26 inches of excess intestine removed due to a hernia similar to yours. It was a bit of an aberration to be sure as he was born with excess intestine, but he recovered just fine after surgery.

Its a pretty simple surgery so I bet you will be fine. Plus while your resting you can ask the hospital for a laptop

Welcome back from surgery. My friend who had excess intestine removed had to use a colostomy bag briefly. I definitely hope you're not having to go through that.

No no (thank the gods). Just the hernia fixed. Still sore and tender and will be for a while yet, but thankfully nothing that horrible!

Glad to hear it! I take it they've got you on a diet that's a little easier on the stomach and then you'll be able to eat normally again...pretty soon?

I figured I'd post here rather then clog up the section with more threads. I get to go get my heart analyzed tomorrow morning. Been having trouble breathing lately. It's delayed my enlistment into the Air Force. Hopefully, not stopped.

But for anyone that cares... fear not ! I'm sure I'll get a lollipop at the end of my visit.

    Peace be with you friends.
