Then again, who's to say these aliens aren't as powerful to cross over from BSG to SGU... we don't really now how powerful they are

The rest of the day was spent yakking about Carl’s first draft of Hope, episode #14, my outline for The Hunt, episode #16, and whether or not Radio, episode #18, still worked given the preceding episode.

Seeing as the previous episode is called "Alliances" I would imagine the "Hope" they have is somehow connected to the assumed new alliance.

I suspect from the title, this will be more of the Faith planet stuff. Faith, Hope and ... third season will be Charity or Love.
