I just went back in time and watched

    Dark Angel

    Pilot episode.

Turns out - the series is set in 2019, so good timing for a revisit. Was actually considering it for my 11yo son, but probably still a bit strong on the sexual references.

It's interesting going back and watching shows like this, with future knowledge, such as how much Alba disliked the skimpy outfits they always seemed to put her in. Have a feeling that she and Michael Weatherley didn't see eye to eye either??

To think though - without it (Season 2 at least), good chance Supernatural's casting people would have ignored Jensen Ackles... (maybe)

Having binged on Orphan Black last year, I'm surprised I hadn't picked up on the similarities... well, maybe mostly superficial... Though all said and done - Orphan Black would have to be the better series... (which hurts to admit)

Sleepy Hollow, season 2, ep. 11, "The Akeda".

Long before you and I were born, others beat these benches with their empty cups,
To the night and its stars, to the here and now with who we are.

Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.
