Well I've just been down lately and Watching Trek helps me out allot and I mean ALLOT. Probably the best thing TO Do when I'm in a down mood!

Just started watching Star Trek TNG [just the good episodes]

But I'd like to get some recommendations on what episodes to watch. I only have Star Trek The Next Generation and Enterprise on DVD as well as all the Movies.
-Just to give you guys a hint as to how much Trek I have on hand to watch-

Anyone else besides me watch Trek when you're down?

-I also have Babylon 5 Seasons 1-5+Crusade, all of Stargate on DVD [SG-1,Atlantis,Universe+ 3 Movies if you guys wanna recommend some of that to watch too-

Don't just watch... 'the good episodes'. What one person hates will be loved by another, and episodes that the majority seems to hate might be personal favourites.

Just starting up Season 1 again. I'm skipping the first episode of TNG cause it makes me sleepy.

I do not know why, but now these days "Encounter at Farpoint" will put me asleep.

Just finished watching "The Last Outpost."

There's really only a handful of decent episodes in season 1 of TNG.

I love watching TOS as a cheer-up. It's just so much fun and you really don't even have to be engrossed in the series to enjoy the episodes.

Fascination--not the best-written episode but definitely makes me laugh

Well good thing today I got Seasons 1-3 of Deep Space Nine off ebay so it'll be a week maybe before they get here.

I need a good list of episodes out of those three seasons to watch.

Been a long time since I watched DS9....been having DS9 Cravings lately.....

But at the moment I can switch between STTNG and SG-1 it's good to have all the series on DVDs. Non stop marathon with no commercials.

Sci-Fi is my "Wonder Drug" So to speak works wonders when I'm depressed about something.

If you want cheering up I would go with some fabulous Jack on SG1: Window of Opportunity, Urgo, 200 & Upgrades. Failsafe makes me smile.. The Light, just for the Sam and Jack scene on the beach, lol. Wormhole X-treme! Proving Ground, 48 Hours (Rodney McKay's 1st ep!) and whichever episode it is where Vala's taking her psychological exam because it's frakking hilarious and has Bob Picardo, the Doc from ST:Voy. There's also Fragile Balance, where Jack's a 15 year old, The Other Guys & Avenger 2.0 are a must and Prometheus Unbound is Vala's first episode. There's also Citizen Joe and Moebius to consider.

The Other Side isn't exactly happy but it DOES have Odo from DS9 in it! Gamekeeper has Lt Barclay from TNG and Voy and The Lost City cannot be left off any Stargate list. It's my all-time favourite ep!

And now I've listed all those I REALLY want to watch them! lol. It's been months since I last watched SG1. Guess I know what I'll be doing the rest of the day!!
