I've noticed some people mention it so far. That watching "Space" made it seem like the rest of the season will be equally as amazing as that episode, in terms of the action/adventure aspect.
My question is: Do we think the show will remain as it was this week?
Personally, I think it was just exciting to see SGU go for more action and jeopardy, and have something more familiar to old school SG fans, but I don't expect the show to be like this very often.
I remember when "Be All My Sins Remember'd" first aired. A lot of fans (myself included) lost their minds with excitement over what had just happened, and how this would reflect the rest of the series beyond that point. A few episodes later, however, the show pretty much went back to its standard format. Which I enjoyed, but it obviously wasn't always as massive and epic as BAMSR every week, or even every several weeks.
When I hear "the rest of the season will be fantastic" and it's based on what we see in a single episode, I always worry a bit that expectations may be so high that the show can't possibly reach it.
Not that the rest of the show can't be fantastic. I think the show has been doing well all along. I'm just not sure "Space" is the perfect example of what most of the season will be the whole way through.
