The show for the poor fools who have never heard of it. It's creepy, surreal, insane and all around awesome. If at first glance it looks at all disturbing, and this disturbs you (in a bad way), be thankful. Why? It means you're sane. If it turns out that the disturbingness (no, that's not a word) appeals to you, then you are officially insane. Rejoice.

So, whether you prefer the overzealous, arrogant, LOUD, megalomaniacal, Irken invader, Zim, his erratic, hyperactive, insane, robot servant, GIR, Zim's obsessive, geeky, human opponent, Dib, or any of the other characters -- or for that matter none of the above --

Ah, and something that I realized today. The theme song has the drum beat... you know.... THE drum beat... as in the Time Lord heartbeat. SO, I have come to the conclusion that the entire Irken race was created by none other than the Master himself!!

I should get the DVDs... I've only seen a handful of episodes because we stopped getting NickToons a while back. And Netflix doesn't have the whole series.

Nicktoons, or at least Nicktoons in the US doesn't air IZ anymore anyways. The DVDs are too expensive and rare now, I hope for a re-release soon.
