Okay... so, I just got back from Dragon Con. I told myself, when I decided to get an autograph from Amanda Tapping, I wouldn't be one of those fangirls who instantly fell in love with her. I'd heard amazing things about her from people who've met her, and I told myself I was allowed to remain jaded and cynical, because she clearly has more than enough people falling for her...
Yeah. No. SO didn't happen. I got the autograph, and in process got to ask her a question. I expected a distracted brush off, you know? The line for autographs was out the door, and clearly she didn't really have time to answer, right?
Wrong. She answered. For real. Like, a real, actual answer. And in the process she encouraged me to make the leap I'd been eyeing for a while, but was too chicken to actually go for.
For the next ten minutes (ostensibly to give the sharpie ink time to dry before putting it in it's sacred sleeve of plastic) I found an empty corner and turned into a puddle of goo. I swear, my hands have never shaken so hard in my entire life.
So, I am officially in the Amanda Tapping fanclub. I have been convinced. She really is as amazing as everyone says she is. It actually kinda makes me wonder if she's completely human...Comment

Normandy blew my mind. AT was phenomenal in that ep, as was Robin Dunne. When I first saw him, I was like "Aw, really? They went there?" But then I continued to watch, and was awed.
