    Eli's Fandom References

Does anybody else think that Eli Wallace belongs to a particular fandom? Personally he strikes me as something of an anime/manga guy although if memory serves he's, so far, made references to Planet of the Apes, Star Wars, Star Trek, and even Futurama. Anyway what do you think his fandom is/should be (maybe it's Wormhole X-Treem?)?

World Of Warcraft and other such MMORPG'S, he's the kind of guy who would order a pizza and pepsi then hammer away at the keyboard until he's an Elf Lord or something lol

Haha... anime/manga guy? Eli is far, FAR from being an otaku. As Ar3S said, Eli is defiantly the overweight 'gamer dude' that plays MMOGs and shovels pounds of pizza down until the wee hours of the morning.

Thanks for being a little more informative this time.
If he's playing an online game like 'Prometheus', then his interests could have included watching a couple of eps of WHX just to see how bad it is, but I doubt he'd become a fan because it's so corny

Come to think of it is odd that he didn't make a Wormhole X-treem comment when he was first abducted/saw the stargate, etc.

I was actually think the same thing a couple of episodes into SGU. (it took that long for my brain to kick in!) But if I remember correctly, in "200", when they were dealing with the movie, they mentioned that the show only aired for a few episodes before being cancelled, then the movie got cancelled (am i remembering that all right?) so maybe Eli never saw it cause it sucked so bad it wasn't on for him to watch.... just a thought.

The movie got canceled but then Martin got a call from the studio, just as SG-1 was about to go off-world that they were going to do a TV series out of it. Then they show it ending 10 years later (presumably 2016/2017) and getting ready for their first movie.

He's an MMO gamer dude, a sci-fi movie buff, and he likes Futurama. It's pretty clear.

Think so yes, he doesn't really strike me as the hardcore hentai guy.

On the other hand, one can never truly know.
                              Mia: Don't you hate that?
                              Vincent: Hate what?
Mia: Uncomfortable silences. Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullsh*t in order to be comfortable?
                              Vincent: I don't know. That's a good question.
Mia: That's when you know you've found somebody really special: you can just shut the f*** up for a minute and comfortably share silence.
