As someone else said SGU is not a carbon copy...as a carbon copy would exactly the same. And thankfully...its not.

You're "over it" yet you still take the time to make a multi-paragraph posting about it? Obviously...you're not as over it as you think you are. You also say SGU is a soap opera...have you actually watched BSG? Its more of a soap opera than any show I've seen.

I concur. While I'm not super happy with SGU...I've still not written it off. We've only had 10 episodes. I have faith in the franchise...and I'm sure we'll see some good things...

Could it be anymore of a carbon copy? A copy without the action, no light on setdeck must film in darkness so we cant see just how cheesy the Destiny is made and minus the computer graphics because SGU has none of that.

Everything has to be in the dark because they are too cheap to turn on the lights or is that what they mean by darker and grittier? They argue and fight, no one is a team,no leader ship Young beats up Rush and leaves him on the planet to die and this what you like? Thats not scifi thats just a reality show.
