Act1

-Divided opens with Rush sitting near the spaceship with an alien skull in his hand.

To be, or not to be, — that is the question: —
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them?

Act2

-Eli and Rush sitting in the viewing room of the Destiny in FTL.

Rush: Do you see yonder cloud that's almost in shape of a camel?
Eli: By th' Mass, and 'tis like a camel, indeed.
Rush: Methinks it is like a weasel.
Eli: It is backed like a weasel
Rush: Or like a whale.
Eli: Very like a whale.

Does anybody actually think that Rush will stay dead? They left him on a planet with a space ship on it. I wonder if Rush, a man who works with Ancient technology on a daily basis, could somehow figure out a way to fix and pilot the spacecraft?

I don't think any of us think Rush will 'stay dead.' He has the ship. He has the stargate. There are aliens in the neighborhood. He'll use one or all of these things to contrive a way back to his Destiny.

Four months.....it's gonna be hard waiting that long, eh?

Ummm, I think the probability that Rush makes it back to Destiny is essentially 100%.

Unless, somehow, Michael Shanks is lying about the fact that he appears in something approximating a dream sequence for Rush in E14, "Human". . . .
