The witch nodded at the General as they sat down, "It was sir, and with local civilzations that aren't familiar with the gun, the blade comes in handy, as a sign of respect." She paused briefly before continuing, " they were skeptical of us at first."

"But as they learned more about us, they started to slowly accept us and were intrigued by our civilization" The highlander confessed.

Methos eyed the two younger immortals, "Tempers started to flare when one of the elders challenged Jana, calling her out saying that she was unfit to lead a team. She took the challenge and had him on his back before he could even fight her, the tip of her blade resting against his neck." The oldest immortal confessed.

"I know i could take him, i was reading them on another level as i felt their unease." Jana stated softly.

"The armour. I am always battle ready. I am A Spartan. and yes i am different. That is down to the Technological and Biological Modifications that are inside my body. Im human, But i am faster, stronger, have greater endurance, better night vision, faster recovery time. I also have a Neural Interface which allows me to control the armour at the speed of my thoughts not movements. But many people on this base have fear for me. Rik looked at the armour. it was black most Spartans had green. Rik however chose black.

Hammond nodded, "Some worlds are slow to learn others fast. Right now things are moving at a steady pace here at home, while you were on duty off world." he slid the Alesian treaty folder towards Jana. "While you three were off world several events happened, for one we have a new treaty of trade and protection. the Asgard oversaw everything and approved it. The President was here yesterday afternoon to sign the treaty. We also had some unexpected guests as well. One of them left before you arrived."

Hammond thought a minute then before continuing. "One of them is still on base, from what Dr Jackson has found out she has been on Earth, in charge of a country for a very long time." He slid another folder over to Methos, one that he was still putting the pieces together on. It had names mentioned, Dok Ram Don, Dok Xiao Sha, Nerik Nunn, and three others, Amann, Ayen, and Galadriel. "Recognize any of these names?" He asked him.

"You are a battle ready soldier, just like Amann's troops." Xiao replied with a soft smile. "Fear? Do I fear you?" She asked him, her smile turing into a smirk of sorts. "Or is it the other way around. You are different then normal humans. Not even likened to a Ancient or an Alesian, but with the skills of an Aleisan." She smiled again before heading for the door and stepping into the hall, letting her senses roam freely, trying to pinpoint the race of the one she felt, it felt like one of the Others.

Rik walked to the door. "I am going to the gateroom. where are you heading?" Rik asked. he would escort Xiao to were ever she was going before going to his destination. "Hmm. i never really think about what I am. i am a highly trained solider. i dont think of much else." Rik looked down. and said nothing more on the subject. he was alone, he had no team in this time. So he had to make do with his own company.

"Somewhere where this will be safely recharged properly perhaps." Xiao said reaching a hand towards the dead ZPM, and a cloud of pink and black floated it to her hand. "The good thing of being Ascended, one can control a type of energy." She said taking hold of the dead ZPM in one hand, causing the cloud to disapate into nothing. The sounds of the stargate dialing were heard. It was time for her to return to China.

Nothing in the controlroom had been touched, the gate was dialing on its own accord.... or was it? Xiao had control over it by way of a device. The stargate itself was that device. Power begain to build up as the second chveron lit and locked.

Rik looked up. he heard the gate Dialing. "The gate is dialling? How? Nevermind... I havent got the patience to consider things like that... That ZPM is driving me mad anyway. how can you re-power it if it harness's subspace for its energy?" Rik had been pondering on that since he came off his last off world mission.

"You know you can ask me about my past, people in this base and those who know of it know my past."

Up in the briefing room the radio went off. Hammond pressed a key on the table. "Hammond" he said.

"Sir, we recived a report from the President, Russia's stargate complex has been overrun by Chinese forces as of ten hours ago that complex has been under Chinese control." Came the reply.

"What of their stargate?" Hammond asked.

"Unknown sir, seismic activty does not show anything on the readings." The radio replied.

A minute later the stargate activated. Hammond stood and went to the window overlooking the stargate floor. "All teams are recalled home, no teams are offworld." The third cheveron locked into place. He went to his office and picked up the phone. "This is Hammond I want strike teams three and seven to the gateroom immdiately."

Oddly Hammond seemed to be taking all these events in stride, as if he had done it before. Which he had.... hours before

Meanwhile in the halls Xiao staarted towards the activating gate, speaking as she did so. "The stargate is dialing so I can return to my home, you said this is to be recharged, but I know of where to get a replacement instead before this one overloads." The fifth cheveron locked. the gate started to shake as the sixth cheveron lit up and locked as Xiao stepped into the gateroom. She held the ZPM in one hand. She turned to Rik, who had followed her no doubt. "Some things are best left unsaid Rik, you serve this land well, and perhaps soon I shall ask of your future, and your past." The seventh cheveron locked into place and the stargate activated. Xiao stepped onto the base of the ramp to head to the gate and enter it when the two strike teams arrived. This could not be good.

Rik stood by the Blast door as the Strike teams ran in. Rik not wanting to get in the cross fire. "Whats going on here??

Rik looked up at the Control room. General Hammond stood there. General Hammond gestured to come into the Control Room. Rik made his way round. "Whats going on Sir?"

The witch looked at the general, "That's true, some are.. but once the trust is built, things happen for the better." and thumbed through the treaty folder. "Our guest is ancient general, as soon as we got back, I was aware of the presense."

Methos looked over the contents of the other folder, "I can't say that I do" he replied and slid the folder over towards the witch, "What do you think?"

Jana looked over the names, and pointed to one, "Dok Xiao Sha... ancient... she's here on the base." She murmured softly.

With Xiao directly in the center of the two strike teams sights, General Hammond spoke to Rik as he led him upstairs to the briefing room. "The Russians lost access to their stargate, a minute later ours activated. We don't know if something is coming through to us or not. Do you have any idea what's going on with our Gate out of our control?" he said as they got to the briefing room where SG 3.0 was seated still. Hammond heard what was said by Jana and nodded as he retook his seat.

"She was not the only Ancient on the base in the last twenty four hours. Yesterday afternoon, three other Ancients were here, then she arrived through the stargate. two of them calling themselves Alesians. They proposed a treaty. The President liked it did a hard look over it and signed it." General Hammond then motioned Rik to step forwards. "SG 22, meet SG 21, reconisance team."

Rik glanced at the gate then back at the General. "Sir. Im not sure it could be the Russian gate dialling in or someone is dialling in off world." Rik looked at SG22. "General, IM still confused. I thought Russia Limited access to their gate. in order to stop a Watergate scenario again. Yes all the time i spend on base is used reading old mission reports."

Rik prefered to be prepared, if something in those reports helps him out one day he will be glad he read them.

"Russia reported they lost access to their stargate yesterday afternoon. About that time the Alesians were here along with a few others, two of them still on the base. Col O'Niell is seeing to him in the hangar bay." Hammond replied. "The Russians agreed to limit access and useage of their stargate yet someone else has taken control of it."

Down in the gateroom Xiao stood looking to both teams, before heading up the ramp to go through the gate to Russia. The teams near the gate raised their weapons. "Halt or we'll open fire!" one of the men said getting on his radio. "General we have someone heading to the gate. She's stopped at the gate, not going through it yet. She's carrying something!"

Rik looked. "Its the dead ZPM. There is no way in hell i can re energize it. Its too far past dead." Rik looked down. "Sir whats bothering me isnt the fact the Russians lost their gate... whats bothering me is Who took it and why... there must be a reason for it..." Rik looked around at SG22. "General, Is there anything else you need me for?"

"Russia lost access to their gate ten minutes later our guest came through to ours. Now our gate is active and Russia still does not have access to their gate. If that ZPM is dead, does she have it?" Hammond said.

The radio went off. "Sir, orders?"

"Stay ready for now, she tries ot move, detain her." Hammond replied looking first to Rik then to SG 3.0. "That woman is our guest, you Idenitfied her Col Foster, I suggest that you and Col Rik speak to her before she goes through, to whereever the gate was dialed, if this woman is after something I want to find out what."

Xiao down in the gateroom in front of the active gate watched the two groups of people witheir weapons aimed, a smirk slowly appearing on her face as her wolfbrown eyes watched every move made by the men in the two strike teams, her senses fully open, yet her mind closed off.
