Wouldn't it be great if you could wish Amanda Tapping a Merry Christmas and put a smile on her face by helping to raise money for her recently launched charity, Sanctuary for Kids? Well, this Christmas, you can! We've contacted Sanctuary for Kids to explain this project to them and they think it's a great idea and have given us the information we will need to make this happen.
So, how can you participate in "Sanctuary For All: Operation North Pole"? All you have to do is make or buy a Christmas card for Amanda and send it to us along with a donation to Sanctuary for Kids of at least $5 CAN and we will put together a package containing all the cards as well as the donation total and make sure it gets to Amanda.
How do you donate? Sanctuary for Kids has indicated that they prefer online donations which can be made here: http://sanctuaryforkids.org/donation-form. If you choose to donate online, please print a copy of your PayPal receipt and send it with your card as confirmation of your donation amount. We do understand that not everybody has the ability to donate online so, if this is the case, you may send a money order with your card. Please ensure that all money orders are in CANADIAN DOLLARS and made out to SANCTUARY FOR KIDS. Cards will only be included if they have a donation confirmation or money order with them as the point of this project is to raise money for kids in need. Please, no cash or cheques.
We ask that all cards be sent no later than WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2009 as we would like to mail everything before Christmas, if possible. We will make sure all cards which are postmarked by December 16 get where they need to regardless of when they are received, but, of course, the sooner you send your card, the better.
In order to ensure that all cards are received and included, we ask that you email us at [email protected] and let us know that you have sent your card along with your donation confirmation or money order. At this time, please let us know if you would like a confirmation email when we receive your card.
