Hi again. This is going to be the offical thread for my new fictional series set in the stargate universe.a little back story can be found in my proabies post...

Stargate: Omega Site

Omega Site- A station on the opposite end of the Milky Way on the very edge. The station bounce signals off dying stars to hide their location. The station itself has been in construction since the threat of the Gould rose. Its secrecy cost earth a lot in finance and is partly responsible for the economic problems of the world.
Its mission to investigate new life in all forms, to perform Research and development of new original technology to help explore & defend and to sustain the 300 civilians that will be relocating from earth to begin Earths first and last colony in the vastness of space.
The crew know the mission, and they know what it means. Omega will operate completely on its own only reporting into HWS if a threat threatens the entire galaxy or the project itself.
The Omega site itself can hold over 2,000 personal it was built with Asgard technology and has one fully functioning bio-dome nickname Eden itself with forest land, lakes, a school, farms housing base.

"Planet X"
The aptly named planet, the hidden secret project of omega, a planet appeared out of nowhere and subsequently jumped 7 years later to this spot in the Milky Way. It seems the ancients hid this planet by using the same technology Meridinn used to hide the sangral but on a much bigger scale. Detecting new star systems completely void of gates, the planet has been kept out of phase and Omega Site stationed in silent orbit. The planet hardly explored except for where the ancient device was given out. Little is known of the planet.

Tech: O-402’s – one in existence, a super experimental type ship, backward engineered from ancient technology only Omegas lead scientist knows how it all works. A craft twice in length compared to puddle jumper with an extended back end which can fold in on itself. Making it compact enough to fit through the gate with ease. The inside of the ship dose not notice the difference in size. Never been test flown.

An enviromentalist at heart was born into a famous family of Biologists. John had allways found a hard time fitting in,attending protest after protest in his teenage years. He followed the love of his life into the Military where excelled in command. He was called into the SGC during an emergency crisis and after discovering the secrets of the Stargate project, never left. His wife sates that he chose his career over his family… Miller is a character who has been called by a higher purpose he belives to lead Omega

Major A.E Harris 3rd Portrayed by Justin Hartley
Alexander Edward Harris the 3rd comes from extremely wealthy family in the import/export business. Harris had always struggled with what he wanted to do believing first he wanted to be a vet to then working in his fathers business, eventually he left behind his parents and siblings for a life in the military. They believe he hides out in the desert playing soldier when he heads up security on Omega Site. A strong minded soldier always has something to prove either to himself or others.

2nd Lt Bishop Portrayed by Stephanie Jacobsen
Lt Bishop, Daughter of General Bishop She wanted to be a teacher, but enlisted in the military. She believes her father was “trying” to reward her by getting this post for her after leaving her mother after she finally fell pregnant. She serves under Colonel Miller, and probably considers him more a father then her own.

41 Military Scientist/Medic, Expert of pretty much anything, from biology to engineering to firing a p90 but doesn’t believe in ascension even after all the evidence* Played by Will Smith(I’m sorry I love the I am legend archetype seeing as he’s such a high profile actor may have to relegate to re-occurring

Doctor Jeremy Pollack Portrayed by John Noble
Omega’s lead scientist who has been stationed in Area 51 for the last 15 years, a little eccentric and likes to follow through on his projects even if they don’t always benefit mankind. He is positioned to head up the labs that will take over specialist R&D when the Colony arrive

A woman who has been involved with the Stargate project since the beginning, being pushed aside originally she now heads up the IOA division on Omega establishing the first government run colony. She believes she should be in charge but for the time being has an understanding with Colonel Miller

`Circles of Truth Pt 1 & 2’
Colonel Miller and Karen Anders of the Omega Site return to earth on a mission against time to recruit a Doctor who may understand a seemingly new threat they have encountered whilst General O’Neill must deal with the possibility of the Stargate Project being revealed.

`Natural Survival’
With the dreams of earths first colony fading and only hours to live, the weak crewmembers of the omega site work together to keep a civilian alive whilst trying to find a world for an alien life form Colonel Miller is unsure they can trust.

`The Hands of Angels’
Recovering from his incident, Agent Reynolds gets the tour of Omega. Whilst Dr’s Pollack and Uri attempt to activate a piece of Ancient technology the side effects though, send everyone on hallucinations that take them to the brink of death, leaving Major Harris and his team stranded on an unstable world.

`First Contact’
Harris, Anna and Reynolds crash on a planet inhabited by an advance race of aliens. Whilst Reynolds is captured, Harris stumbles on some information Omega Site would do anything for. Anna alone tries to save her two other lost companions

`Eden’
Doc implores the use of SGC Tech to recall memories of when he was in the Middle East to find answers to the mystery surrounding alien artefact recovered by Harris
Reynolds plays the waiting game on the Colonel’s decision on his future.

`All Things Great & Small’
Reynolds prepares to leave Omega when an un-registered solar event knocks the stations power out. Omega begins to drift in space causing Colonel Miller and a few others to take a space walk to fix the problem encountering more that they were expecting.

`Colonies’
“Guest Staring RDA as Gen. J O’Neill & James Earl Jones as Gen. D Bishop”
The 300 hundred chosen make their way to New Eden to begin their new lives but are surprised to find themselves under 48 hour quarantine until they can leave for the bio dome. Meanwhile Colonel Miller, Harris, Pollack and Doc all suffer amusing side effect from thier spacewalk encounter.

Will wait and see for the Pilot, BUT your description of Omega Site is a bit....confusing.

Is it a off world colony? IS it a reaserch post in between some stars!?! or is it more like the Alpha or Beta Sites, or Icarus? Might want to simplifying its description?

Seriously, being a "research base" in Stargate covers EVERTHING! Its like being a 'scientist'. Doesn't matter what field, if your a 'scientist' your an expert in anything!

300 civiliians will then travel to the station to begin a new life away from Earth thus making it a colony.

Cool. Space Station huh? when you mentioned "bio dome" and "colony" i thought it was going to be on the surface.

Circles of Truth

Light dawns over Washington. Cars drive through the busy streets, trains and buses flowing with the steady marches of men and women.
Washington, Dulles Airport abuzz with the usual day of routine a private plane comes down for its descent to touchdown. As it rolls onto tarmac the pilots share idle chit chat, one comments on his daughter’s fascination with the stars, he bought her a telescope for her 8th birthday. The other laughs, and begins to tell him about his sons obsession with a television show called
“Wormhole ex…”
Before he can finish his sentence 4 black SUVs surround them in a boxed position. The pilot switches his radio back onto channel one as he begins to shout in a panicked voice
“What’s going on?” the pilot recoils into his chair as static echoes down the line
The radio bursts into receiving
“…repeat this is the US Air force, cease and desist engines and prepare to be bordered this is not a drill… Repeat…”
A black chopper thunders down onto the tarmac as soldiers flow from the vehicles. In the distant… a hazmat team head towards the plane.

Plane Interior: A woman with dark hair demands to know what’s going on, she leans over as she places her shoes on again after the long flight. She is informed from the pilot and quickly starts to loose her temper with the staff and demands to be let out. Other office workers look worried. A dark older burly man enters; He wears a blue air force uniform with 4 stars. The woman turns to him
“General Bishop, I demand…”
“Mrs Laurens, I don’t think any of us are in a place to make demands.” The windows of the planes are suddenly covered sending everyone into darkness.

Hi, there. Seeing this is a new fanfic series that has hit the forums, I might as well do some reviews.

First off, this does look like a very intriguing series and I'll keep this under my watch and see how it goes. Second, first thing I noticed is... you spelt Goa'uld wrong... *sigh*... I can't tell you how badly of a pet peeve this is to me, haha. Please be sure before you post your stories that your information is written correctly. Good way to remember that what you've written is all in order is by remembering this acronym: P.U.G.S. = Punctionation Usage Grammer Spelling, and then asking yourself if you applied PUGS correctly within your story and if there is anything else that you need readjusting.

Reason why I state this is because when I read your description about the Omega Station... I was so confused, same as which one of the earlier posters stated already. I strongly advise that you make the necessary corrections to your introductory posts so no one will have trouble understanding what you’re saying.

Now moving onto the story itself, I see that your most recent comment, you posted a teaser of SGO. I have to admit your story is quite interesting and that it pulled me in a bit. What got me though was where you tried inserting the script format style of writing. Having experience in script and prose writing, as someone who would tell you which is better, I'm going to have to advise that you take on prose rather than script. The two do not mix well at all. It can lead to disastrous confusion and trouble with your readers, honest to God it can. I can't tell you how many stories I've read where it was a mix between script and prose. It... it hurts the mind after awhile.

I see that you have great potential and as a newbie here, your writing is rather better than some, not many, but some. I can tell if you keep on writing and practicing, your going to be really good. But remember PUGS!! Don't forget about them! They are one of the most important things when it comes down to writing. I recommend that you go over your teaser that you posted and through your other posts and that you grammatically correct any errors. If you need a Beta Reader, ask around, there are some really great Beta Readers here bro. Currently, I'm a Beta Reader for one of my friend's series so I am currently unavailable.

I hope I wasn't offensive, but I tend to be blunt sometimes which can lead to misunderstanding. I hope what I said was helpful and please, whatever you do, don't IGNORE people that give constructive criticism, it helps your growth as a writer. Trust me

Colonel Miller, Karen Anders and their armed escorts had just stepped off the ramp when the voice of General Landry echoed off the Gate Rooms speakers
“Colonel Miller, Mrs Anders… Welcome Home” through the looking glass, he wore the same bright smile he had done since his inception at the SGC
“Colonel, you can debrief me right away, Whilst Mrs Anders, a plane is waiting for you up top. I’m sure you want to get to solid ground as soon as possible”
Karen Anders stood staring around the Gate room; she was just outside the doors when the project started and now 13 years later was inside the heart of Earths most envious of ventures.
“Yes General” she replied with a smile
The blast doors opened, in quick succession. Karen nodded to Miller and exited first, he followed in step.
The General stood looking at the two marines who awaited their orders, he grabbed the speaker again
“You two! Go eat or something” he turned and exited from view, the two marines dumbfound just looked at each other oddly.

Cut To: Briefing Room

Colonel Miller sat at the conference table alone as General Landry entered with a cup of coffee and a file under his arm.
“Can I get you anything, I hear Omega Site won’t be getting the good stuff until the 300 hundred arrive” the General hummed in usual husky charming way
“Thank you, General, but I believe General O’Neill would prefer me to get straight to it”
“Ha” General Landry sat back with a smile “you ruffled his feathers, don’t blame him too much his he’s had a lot on his plate the last few months. This is just another bad day”
Miller looked around for the signs of someone else joining them
“Lt Colonel David Michael’s is who I presume who you’re looking for” Landry noted
“Who”, the Colonel responded returning his attention to the General.
“The doctor who might be able to help solve this riddle”
“The general never told me his name”
“Still the same O’Neill” Landry stood up from the desk “Colonel Carter has been studying the blood work we sent her for the last 4 hours; unfortunately the Hammond has other priorities. She suggested tracking down Doctor Michaels to help, he’s currently positioned at the beta site, and I’ll warn you he’s a stubborn son of a bith, we’ve already ordered him to come” Landry slung his file down “but he’s out of communication. You need him, you gotta go get him”

Cut to: Quarantine Site

Agent Reynolds makes his way down a corridor, he sees two marines approaching he attempts to make it away and he would have if it wasn’t for the blue electricity paralysing him… then everything went dark.

A few moments later he came too, feeling uneasy like he had just place both his wet hands inside a toaster just to see what it would do. As he tries to touch his head, his hands became stuck out of reach, he opens his eyes to see them chained to a table in front of him, a low watt bulb hangs from the ceiling, and a mirror in front of him, he’d been on the other side of the that mirror to many times to understand he was in an interrogation room.

so so days to go... my brother was drawing the art for me, But i won't get to see them until christmas, so thats when they'll be posted
