    Destiny

Okay, let's get this out of the way. "I'm not sure if anyone posted this topic yet but..."

I wonder if when Rush says the name of the ship is called "Destiny" he's lieing. I'm thinking there is a possibility that the ship has another, darker, name (purpose) and he's actually saying it's "his" destiny.

Just throwing it out there (hopefully not again.... cringe)

There are others on the ship that know Ancient well enough (and are digging around in the systems enough) to make that unlikely
If you're wondering how he eats & breathes, and other science facts...(la! la! la!)
Then repeat to yourself its just a show, I should really just relax.

I own "Future War"..I can put up with a lot

in ancient it's probably something like Fatus.

which looks like fate, or destiny.

so it's hard to lie on that one

Fatum, actually I think. So pretty close.

I think Fate has a different connotation to Destiny though. Fate seems pretty negative, whilst Destiny seems to have more of a grandeur to it.

In Latin, the word for destiny is FATUM

what i meant is, Fatum looks like fate, and has to do with destiny. requires only a bit of brains to see such a connection. so rush can't lie on that one, riley managed to spot a reference to earth (Terra) and well, this is another of such simple words that about everyone will spot and know
