It could very well have been Matt's. The last time we saw him was at the base of the ramp to the 'gate... could be...

I don't believe there was a follow up on this episode because the message sent to the past was a warning to not go to this planet. What about the virus that came from the ice planet? Wasn't the antidote supposed to be from those killer creatures or something else on Rush's skull world?

Pretty sure it is several years. The Kino was full and I assume they can hold immense volumes of information.

The second timeline is where some go back to the planet to try and get the antidote to the plague and Rush picks up the skull. The skull could be Rush's or another crew members from the first time line (shown on the original Kino). This is because of the time paradoxical results from the Kino video having to exist for the second time line visit to the planet to occur. The first second and third time lines are all viable timelines if a blood sample from Scott is placed in the Kino and analized in the third timeline. The cure is derived from this before anyone even goes to the planet (if the Kino go back in time far enough caused by solar flare interference on the wormhole) so no one has to die nor even return to the jungle planet. The first visit had to happen to get video and for all to die (create a skull) to warn the crew of the dangers of the jungle planet. The second time line visit had to happen to get the video of Scott telling of the cure and sending his blood sample back in time to the third time line. Perhaps if the third timeline becomes the only timeline that occurs because no one has to visit the planet because the second Kino supplies the antidote and the video exlaination. Only the Kinos from timeline one and two exist with Scott's blood sample and the skull bones on the planet. These things just exist with out the events actually occuring... maybe...

Well, the first team didn't find the skull so it had to be either Scott or Rush, presumably Rush.
