I liked how this episode was used to give some more background. And build up to the next episodes. It was well written, but perhaps not as action packed as the majority would have liked.
The "chair" was introduced in this? Maybe i mix up the episodes, I'm watching as many as I can and it's really a great "ride" - On to the next

One of my favorite episodes of SGU. We get insight into a good number of people. Rush's lie comes to light and in so doing we learn more about him. A little love triangle drama and nice little romance. I wish this episode was two hours and we got to see lives of more people.

Rush planted information about a planet they could dial Earth from. He said he did it to boost moral but I think it was really to get Young to let him use the chair on someone.

AH.. that lie. Rush by now has told so many its hard to keep track of them all.

I liked that episode, my sort of episode about people's relationships. Loved Young beating up Telford. I KNEW he was trying to get in with Mrs Young.

I've slowly been going through the SGU episodes and writing essays about them. Here's my take on "Life", which I mostly enjoyed despite the slower pace.

Why not to Justice and space as a 2 parter...

Thought about doing that, as it worked with some other two parters. The episodes connect but are very different, so I'll have to see how they flow together when I watch them again.

Personally thinking about it, from here on out i would love it if you did it thusly..

Justice/space as one
divided, faith and human as one each
Lost-sabotage as one together
Pain and Subversion as one each
Incursion 1 2 and Intervention as one biggy (finishing S1 and starting S2)
Aftermath through Cloverdale as one each
Greater good and Malice as one together
Visitation on it's own
Resurgence and deliverance as one together
Twin destinies through The hunt on their own
Common descent and Epilogue together
and Blockade/gauntlet together..
Though really Twin destinies needs to get mashed up WITH common Descent/Epilogue.

A really good review, I think, but maybe you should look up the characters names the next time. There is no Camille Rey on the show, Ming Na character's name is Camile (yes with one "l" only, by TPTB's choice!) and her family name is Wray.

Aside from that, I hope for more of your insights.
