Stranded 600M LY from Earth, the rogue Atlantis crew try and survive alongside the Travelers and Pegasus Refugees they've saved. Dark Frontier takes place in the Hoag's Object Galaxy, after the events of "Universal Sin" There is a synopsis version available here at the Wiki Page for this story.

Season 1 Episode List:

1.) Welcome to Saudade Dr Beckett. (Banner)

Spoiler:

2 weeks after entering stasis, Carson wakes up in a strange new galaxy. Immediately he's rushed into helping the needy expedition. He decides to accompany a recon team to the mainland to explore an abandoned ancient outpost, but while there, the Expedition learns that they might not be alone in this galaxy.

2.) Home is Where the Heart is (Voted worst episode of DF Season 1! Read at own Peril! Even Aragon101 agrees!) (Banner)

Spoiler:

Burying herself in work, Sam finds out that this new galaxy has terrors and wonders unlike anything she has seen before. The time for grief may not be over but she has to move on.

3.) Suspicions (Banner)

The Refugees are safe, the galaxy is open for exploration, and Daniel has found something interesting. A mission to study a new form of life goes haywire and the one of the dangers of the galaxy is brought right to Atlantis' doorstep.

When a refugee village is destroyed, John's team's investigation leads them to a problem they'd have never expected.

5.) ...Die Hard (Banner)

Larrin's been busy ensuring her people continue to be safe, ao when she loses contact with a ship, it's deja vu as she begs the expedition for help.

6.) The Motions (Banner)

Chuck's always been the guy in the background, nobody ever really notices him. In a way, this makes Chuck the one to go to to see how people are doing.

7.) Near the Fringe (Banner)

Rafaela's always been quiet, she prefers to stay relatively unnoticed. But when someone notices her a little too much. It's a race against time to rescue her from an uncertain fate.

8.) Mystery in a far off land (Banner)

When Larrin asks Kevin Marks to investigate the planet where the Traveler Ship was downed, he's only too happy to take on the mission. But what they find is something more terrifying and primal than anything they've ever seen before.

9.) Contact Part 1 (Banner)

Newly promoted Major Alicia Vega is finding life in Hoag's Object not all she was hoping it to be. But something's come back to haunt her - something she wished she had a proton pack for.

10.) Contact Part 2 (Banner)

Official contact with a race of humans has been made. If only they weren't such jerks.... Oh and the Shade? Yeah, they might put a damper on diplomacy. One person knocks on death's door, while another decides to punch out the reaper one last time.

The Shade Invasion of Magna Secundus put a damper on diplomacy. but John doesn't care. All he cares about is that fact that he's left another teammate to die at the hands of forces out of his control. But no more. John has reached his breaking point and he's either going to rebound from this dark oppressive force over his life, or he's going to embrace the sweet liberty of death.

Meanwhile Sam is having her own battle, and while it doesn't involve silicon based lifeforms and a mental interface that sounds suspiciously like Cortana, she's equally at risk of fading away... but she has friends who care, even in places she had forgotten about.

12.) Outpost Zeta Twelve (Banner)

Spoiler:

Contact with the Olim has produced little results, but that's about to change. Coordinates of an ancient abandoned Alteran outpost have been shared and Major Vega's team is sent to investigate. But there's a reason both the Alterans and Olim abandoned this world, and it's rather squicky.

13.) Tempus Fugit (Banner)

Spoiler:

Full Power is restored, the Travelers are curious about the city, Daniel's in charge of it all, This is his CANDY STORE - That is until he picks up an innocuous little ball, and is transported to the height of the Wraith-Lantean War. He'll meet one of his heroes, and watch history in the making - that is if he survives.

14.) A Cold Day in Hell (Banner)

Spoiler:

While investigating an imminent Supernova, Marks will have to remember everything he's learned from years of flying Earth's battle carriers to win back his crew's pride.. and potentially their lives.

15.) Green Thumb (Banner)
(Special note: Green Thumb kicked Aragon101's ass... repeatedly.)

Wex is attacked by a strange plant, and wanting to prevent it from happening again, Teyla requests Atlantis' assistance. Investigation leads to a strange discovery they wouldn't exactly call advanced, and yet it threatens to doom the remaining Pegasus refugees.

16.) Mercy-Less (Banner)

Spoiler:

The Hippocratic Oath applies to a person no matter where they are. So when an Olim colony falls prey to a strange yet familiar plague, Carson feels the need to help with what he can. The Olim appreciate his assistance - and wish to keep appreciating him.

17.) Shattered (Banner)

Spoiler:

The Expedition finds a strange planet and wants to know how such a thing can exist. Drake goes with his team to investigate and find more than they bargained for.

18.) Just Business (Banner)

Spoiler:

The Olim have asked for Atlantis' help now that they trade, but as always, Chuck, the one no one notices, is the one to see the glaring problem hidden beneath the haystack.

He'll have to become the last action hero, and before the day is over, someone is going to get 'Chucked.'

19.) Inevitable (Part 1/3) (Banner)

Life at 300 days in Hoag's Object... things seem okay, but like the song title says, something dark is coming.

20.) Deja Vu (Part 2/3) (Banner)

The Olim have invaded Atlantis with a tactic worthy of Troy. Our heroes dive face first into the action to reclaim the city, and nothing will ever be the same again.

   Faced with a marvelous if somewhat unexpected problem, Atlantis will finally stand on it's own... and make a hard decision that only desperation could bring.

   While his home is being refitted, Kevin Marks takes control of the oldest Traveler Ship, the Medai, in the interim. Alongside Larrin, they'll investigate a strange signal coming from an old homestead. But what they'll find will test the 300 year old ship's limits, and reveal more about a certain enemy.

   Spoiler:

   The new technologies made by the Travelers require materials, and reluctant to send the fleet from Atlantis, the team has to explore to find as much as they can... they just never expected to find it in such a fantastical place as this... or such a strange and potentially dangerous creature.

    The Travelers haven't been sitting around, and it's time to put their minds and hands together.

    When faced with a difficult choice, even the most professional of us might slip into unbridled emotion. Kevin Marks will have have a hardest decision pressed on him, can he escape with his crew intact?

    When a settler team goes missing while investigating potential supplies, The team goes looking on a strange planet. What they find is a little more squicky than they're used to.
13. Alien Instinct
    
    Spoiler:

    Examination of a ruin on Ares leads to an interesting discovery, a parallel of something they knew existed - which might not be that great now that they've woken it up.
14. Harmonics (1/2)
    
    Spoiler:

    Spotting something strange in the dark ring of the galaxy, Atlantis will discover that evolution has a way of defending itself in the most peculiar ways.

16. Touch the Sun
    
    Spoiler:

    Despite everything that's happened, the research on Atlantis has never stopped, and now with Radek proposing a brilliantly insane plan to contact Earth, Our heroes are going to have to own up to their past crimes. But the Shade have other plans, and a glaring problem with Atlantis' Forces will be shown.
17. Left Behind & Vestiges

    Two Part Episode
    
    1.) Left Behind - Colonel Cameron Mitchell got shanghaied into this job, but he doesn't mind it. Some of his closest friends were here, and searching for them with those left behind is proving to be a more difficult task than originally anticipated. A Special Episode featuring SG1, the remains of SGA, and Pegasus after Universal Sin.
    
    2.) Vestiges - Back on Earth, Jack is on the edge. The Lucian Alliance's surprise attack on Icarus was only the beginning. Added to political problems back home, he's ready to give it all up. And yet, SG-1 still calls to him, so he'll get back into the saddle one last time. Continuation of 'Touch the Sun'
18. Prince of Atlantis:
    
    Spoiler:

    When Mila is attacked late at night, Wex is injured defending her. Dan and Teyla make an unlikely duo to find the culprits, and discover something far more disturbing than they thought.
19. Penance:
    
    Spoiler:

    After no word or knowledge of them since the Colony fiasco, Aulus contacts Atlantis with a small hope. He proposes a deal, a risky long range rescue in exchange for his assistance in the future. Atlantis will have to decide which tastes better, revenge or righteousness.
20. Telemachus
    
    Spoiler:

    The alarms sounding, the crew is shocked to find a craft they were only dreaming of in orbit of Ares. Investigation leads to a dark tale, and possible future for them all.
21. Secure Storage
    
    Spoiler:

    An ancient memory finally provides results, and Daniel is amazed that Janus was right. Now if ONLY Mila hadn't touched that damn ball. Now Daniel, Sam, Alicia, John and Rafaela are skipping across the fabric of space time learning just how bad things can get. Unless they can pull themselves back, they're going to snap the rubber band that holds our universe together.
22. Test Flight
    
    Spoiler:

    The F-302 is Earth's premiere interceptor, but it's not all that useful in Hoag�s Object. That is until the Travelers make a few 'Modifications'.
23. My God, it's full of stars...
    
    Spoiler:

    Another technology reverse engineered, and Kevin decides to get to the heart of the matter and go to the center of the galaxy where he finds the Shade's most terrifying secret.
24. Learning Curve
    Spoiler:

    Alicia never liked the IOA. Period. But now she's learning that maybe it's not so bad to have a bureaucrat around.
25. Unexpected Visitors (Part 1/3)
    Spoiler:

    Peace is inevitable, but so is war. Atlantis can run all it likes, but the devil makes you pay for your sins - one way or another.

As you'll notice, Season 2 Episodes already have names as i've already conceptualized them most are locked in, i might still change up a few. over my holiday's break i'll be conceptualizing Season 3-4, which is as far as this fic'll go.The "movie" is going to be most likely a story length(40-60k words) proper ending to this story.

onto Contact part 3; is it me or are some races around, just around to talk too lonely heroes? Why can't you just have them go crazy and hallucinate or something? I'm sure thats never been done before .... .....

Oh, and i think someone's been playing WAY too much Halo, especially with Sheppard encountering a crashed spaceship (Weirdly theres a lot of those in Halo) and picking up a nice big gun. Before you know it, there will be energy swords and epic lag issues. ;p

LOL well i AM hinting that the Ascended are up to something Admittedly we won't see too much of them. but there will be a few mentions of what's going on there. And Carter's already gone crazy and hallucinated in Grace remember?

LOL, the Halo reference was unavoidable.Any armor that has a virtual interface will undoubtedly be compared to the Mjolnir armor so i decided to meet it head on with a humourous aspect rather than try and skirt the issue. There are major differences between the armors and John's having way too much fun calling it Cortana

I'll assure that there won't be any energy swords, and the nice big gun WAS mentioned previously The suit will get explained in more detail later. Tihis chapter does take a bit of a wink and a nod from Halo, but there's still more to come
