If Leno didn't make me want to smash everything in sight, I'd be on this in a heartbeat
"A society grows great when old men plant trees, the shade of which they know they will never sit in. Good people do things for other people. That's it, the end." -- Penelope Wilton in Ricky Gervais's After Life
Actually, he has been on Leno many times (I have at least 5 or 6 recorded) from back to the beginning of MacGyver and they had a running joke between them about all the issues, especially his lack of committment (in the love life area).
He was on many shows during his MacGyver days and before. I have a tape full of lots of interviews. He just hasn't done as many recently or during the Stargate years probably because that wasn't a mainstream show.

Yeah, I was joking as well. But RDA has said he doesn't love doing interviews. And believe me it's not that his show was on a cable network. He's still a bigger celeb than 60% of the guests on the late night shows. Heck, Entertainment Weekly did a special about him finally buying a house a few years ago. Not to mention the Mega-Blockbuster MacGruber which comes out this summer that's just a giant spoof of him

You have to look at the date of his post. That was about a month before the movie came out and some people (though not me) thought it would make alot of money. Although I agreee that even then the Mega part was way too optimistic.
