Firefly reference

Tonight's "Castle" episode has a not-so-subtle reference to Fillion's "Firefly" years.

I just got finished watching CASTLE and he was awesome!!! and the Mal costume he used was the one from the TV show and not form the Movie...


Still Fillion was frakking awesome when he came through the door and there was Mal Reynolds!!!!

I was so loving that appearence of the Mal costume.

Would have fallen off my seat laughing had Kate been dressed as Inara at the party. Though Mall had a different costume there!!!

I was ROFL when I saw Castle as Mal. I missed the first few mins, so I only caught the reference when Kate pointed out the suspender. I was laughing so hard. I had to point out the reference to my hubby that didn't get it.
I went on Hulu later and caught the very beginning. I squeed and laughed the whole time. Love the banter between him and his daughter.

I would've love to see Kate as Inara too.... Oh well.

It's so good to see Nathan as Mal again. A bit bitter-sweet, actually. Hard to believe it's been four years since Serenity. It's awesome that the folks creating Castle allow these little Firefly indulgences. No Bwah! when he came through the door, though. I was a bit disappointed by that.

I hope castle keeps going though, its a great show.
