    Supernatural Season 5 Spoiler Thread

So instead of posting spoilers in the general thread, since some people don't like spoilers and now that Supernatural has its own folder.

NOTE since this is a spoiler thread, post will not be in spoiler tags!!!!

EDIT: I've added some of the spoilers that are already known (post 3-6).

Question: Heard through the Twitter grapevine that you are talking to Supernatural creator Eric Kripke. Please ask him if we are ever going to find out more about Ruby’s knife? Like how it was made, by who, or why it can kill demons. —Vanessa
Ausiello: “I don’t think I’ll ever give up the back story of how that knife got its powers,” Kripke responds. “I like to leave some things mysterious. And that’s likely to remain mysterious.”

Question: Ask Eric Kripke if the Colt pistol is ever going to make a comeback on Supernatural. We never saw it destroyed and it seems like it would be pretty handy in a demon war. —WesleyAusiello: Good news. “The Colt pistol is making a comeback,” Kripke declares. “I was actually in the [writers] room today breaking episode 10 and the cult pistol is in episode 10. And it also pops up a little bit earlier as well. The cult emerges as the boys’ best strategy to shooting the devil in the face.”

Question: Any chance that we’ll see Jeffrey Dean Morgan again on Supernatural? —Barbara
Ausiello: Yes, there’s a chance. “I would love to have him back,” says Kripke. “But he is an in-demand actor. It’s all about scheduling. It’s [in the hands] of men who wear ties.” Hey, I sometimes wear ties. Consider this a done deal, Barb!

      Supernatural casting scoop

I recently received a tip that Supernatural was planning to unveil its version of the Tooth Fairy in this season’s sixth episode. Well, the following casting prattle explains why…

Jesse: An all-American boy age 11 who is wise beyond his years. He was adopted as an infant and remains perplexed by his unusual powers. He possesses a childlike innocence—he believes in the Tooth Fairy (Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!)! He suddenly finds himself faced with a very adult decision. Recurring role.

Supernatural stars: You ain't seen nothin' yet

If you're a fan of Supernatural, then you're well aware that no one is safe from the fickle finger of death, not even Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), the co-lead of the show, who was killed at the end of the third season and sent to hell. So any actor cast on the series knows that making it out alive to the end of any episode is tantamount to a miracle.

Yet aside from Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean, there are two other lucky characters who have managed to buck the ugly Supernatural odds: the angel Castiel (Mischa Collins) and the hunter Bobby Singer (Jim Beaver). While other guest stars and recurring characters have eventually dropped like flies, both are still kicking. In fact, this season both characters will step up out of the shadows and become major players in the mighty apocalypse that series creator Eric Kripke is unleashing on the Winchesters and the world in season five.

Paris Hilton to Guest Star on CW's Supernatural

This is going to be hilarious.

Sources tell us exclusively that celebutante Paris Hilton is going to guest star in episode five of Supernatural this season.

Should you freak out? Is she going to be a love interest for the boys? Here's what we're hearing...

Details about Hilton's role are being kept under wraps, but we are advised that freaking out is not necessary. A source close to the show tells us: "The fans should trust [show runner] Eric Kripke." (We've heard the storyline, and when you see it you will die. It's awesome.)

Who do you think Paris will play on Supernatural? How would you feel if she hooked up with one of the Winchester boys?

Eleanor in Salt Lake City: Any new news on Supernatural?
Jim Beaver told us to expect a huge Bobby-related twist early in Supernatural's fifth season. He says, "There's something pretty big that happens with Bobby in the first episodes. Really big. It's going to have a huge impact on his relationship with the boys—but I don't know what that impact is, because I've only seen the first three scripts."

          http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/watc...erfeed_kristin

Donna in Mission Viejo, Calif.: Any news to share on Supernatural? I can't wait for the new season!
Misha Collins told reporters at Comic-Con, "Castiel has his own agenda that will be revealed at the end of episode two. Very big stuff, I have to say. Epic." We hear he's going on a mission to find someone (that missing God guy, perhaps?) and that Bobby's going to have a tougher time helping the boys this season, for reasons that must currently remain unrevealed. Plus, if you haven't seen it yet, don't miss our main Supernatural report from Comic-Con where exec producer Ben Edlund talks about Dean's flash-forward to the Apocalypse, Sera Gamble shares a lot of insight into Dean's arc for next season and show runner Eric Kripke reveals that God will be a character on SPN in season five!

          Description of SDCC preview clip:

D & S are going through a destroyed house. Samturns a corner and CHUCK slams him in the head with a toilet plunger. Then Chuck tells the boys Cas is Dead, Dean is PISSED. Then Chuck feels the angels coming and it's Zach. With ATTITUDE and Dean is PISSED. AGAIN. Great scene between them. And then Dean's had enough and uses the blood glyph to kick their asses out (Zach has angel minions).

          General spoilers:

Episode 4 will be the Future Episode.

          - Episode 4 of this season will be set five years in the future and is described by Kripke as his "28 Days Later episode".
          - This year will be the most optimistic season of the show ever. After spending the majority of last season tearing the Winchester family apart, this season will bring them back together.

Eric Kripke: '' We'll be doing a story on Celebrity Ghosts, including a homicidal Abe Lincoln

Rufus will return to Supernatural and they are trying to bring back as many hunters as possible this season

Ellen and Jo Harvelle are coming back to supernatural in season five

Supernatural's Deviled Execs Spill (Many) Season Five Secrets

Despite the fact that Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles couldn't make it to San Diego Comic-Con this year (they're busy shooting the show up in Vancouver), we did get some serious quality time backstage at press-room roundtables with executive producers and writers Eric Kripke, Ben Edlund and Sera Gamble, and they spilled mondo secrets about the upcoming season five.

Read on to find out why Lucifer's a surprisingly nice guy, which two fan-favorite hunters are coming back and why Dean might be ditching Sam this season...

            Latest from E! Online:-

Jessica in Peshtigo, Wisc.: Will Lucifer on Supernatural swap out bodies like the rest of the demons, or will he be Pellegrino-shaped for most of the season?

We're told Lucifer will be entirely Pellegrino-shaped and that he'll recur throughout Supernatural season five. We're also hearing that Castiel has a major individual arc that coincides with the major arc for the season, and that's all we can share for now, but it sounds juicy, don't you think?

            The Return of..............

            Yep, it's official.........Ellen is back.

Actually it was official a while back but you don't want to jinx these things.

Very psyched! It feels like forever and i am thrilled to be back with the boys and the crew and the show. Although it will be a little bittersweet without Kim Manners there. I'm sure he is rockin' out in another dimension somewhere looking down at us thinking, "poor *******s", with a smile on his face.

Apart from a convention here and there i haven't actually seen Les Freres Winchester in quite some time and am really looking forward to it...... as well as kicking some ass. See if we can get some of that in there, too. I'll do my best.

Nope. Not giving any details. Sorry. Wouldn't be prudent. But i will say this...

There might be some salt.....maybe a demon or two......and a whoooole lotta bad s**t going on. There. I'm sure i have totally shed light on the situation for you. (Aren't there things called spoilers for that?)

Yeehaw. I'll let you know how it goes.

Also, there is talk of doing a convention in Spain next summer, which would be very cool as i a have never been to spain. We'll see if it works out.

            Hope yer well.

To satisfy at least some of my curiosity I did a stop-and-go run through of the teaser video, and there are a few scenes that seem to give us some information about S5. (Spoilered for pictures and conjecture.)

                      Spoiler:
This is obviously a shot of Sam and Dean trying to escape from the chamber where Lucifer is rising.

And the next moment the door is slammed before them. It seem Lucifer wants to have a little chat with them before they go.

Then we have this shot of Dean, which came as a bit of a surprise for me.

He's obviously in an airplane - what happened to his fear of flying? Well, it seems well warranted in this case, since the plane appears to be a) out of oxygen and b) going down...

                      Then there's this shot:

... and later we see the bloodied tip of a knife. No idea if those two scenes are connected, though.

And finally there are these two scenes, featuring Jo and what I'm guessing may be Rufus (since it was confirmed that he'd make a comeback).

The person they're treating with salt here can be better seen in the next shot, and it appears to be - Sam.

Which leads me to conclude that this is the ep that will be said 5 years or so in the future, and where Kripke said we'll get to see what Sam is like when he's truly evil.
