when I met Rachell Lutrell last year at Dragon*Con, I told her that she sang the song very beautifully.

The song was written composed by Joel Goldsmith with the help of his sister Ellen Goldsmith.

Rachell did her own singing in this episode. She recorded the song in two takes and this may be why some people say the lips don't match on some of it. The editing of 2 different takes of the song was off. She has a beautiful voice.

Rachel is a soprano so she would have no issues singing that.
Although I believe I remember somewhere, in an interview perhaps, that she did have the sing a note lower or something for this.
