Illegal download links are not allowed here
Just what the title says, just so people can't say they haven't seen it.
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE for illegal download links.
It says so right in our rules:
Episode downloads. Do not use GateWorld to request, trade, or advertise illegal downloads of copyrighted films or television programs, including Stargate. Keep any such conversations in private e-mail -- no exceptions.

In addition to that, 'keeping any such conversations to private e-mail' encompasses things like 'i saw it on channel BT' and other such oblique remarks.
If you want to download illegally - and i will NOT open a discussion about the rightness or wrongness of the action - that's your business. What you do on your own time is your business. What you talk about in your private e-mail is your business. But you CANNOT discuss, share or promote illegal downloading here.
Believe it or not, companies look at and monitor forums just like this one. And that's how they often find out about, shut down and sometimes, start prosecution on the uploaders and downloaders of stolen copyright material. And if a site condones the sharing of such info, the site can be implicated as well.
Thus, don't do it here.
The ONLY links that are appropriate to share here is ITunes, UnBox, Hulu, if the BBC has a streaming service or other downloads offered by the distributors of the show.
If someone 'kindly' posts a link, ignore it, or report it so we can remove it, and move on. If you know the location of a link and just can't wait to share....wait. Or you use other means than this site.
Newbies that sign up and their first post is to post DL links are immediately banned. Old timers will be moderated and if they keep doing it, they will be banned.
This doesn't just apply to episodes. It applies to music you've ripped. That music is copyrighted.
We DO allow links to things like teasers or promos. Those are out there to share. But do NOT post links to episodes (like it will not surprise me in the slightest if Universe gets leaked. ya find it, do not post about it here)
There are no exceptions to this rule and the mods will enforce it with all due diligence.
